@Jaysonguy: Yeah.. i'm going to try for that then. The fan is also going it seems. On my last ps3 the connector to the fan melted and fried my ps3 and I think the same thing is happening because it sounds like an airplane taking off when playing games. I guess it all depends on if I get a legit person and not an ass

@Jaysonguy: Seeing as my console is almost 2 years old and shows sign of wear and tear.. would me pleading my case that it would be pointless to repair help at all lol? I mean it is kinda pointless to repair such a worn out old console.

Hi I bought a ps3 on 8/14/12 so I obviously have a little time before I can't return it. Well my ps3 has finally decided to bite the dust (hard drive is shot and blu ray drive is acting up) so my question is will they replace it right in the store with a new one? I've heard some people say they will do anything they can to not replace it on the spot an have it repaired.. others have said they replaced it on the spot with no hassle and no questions asked. Problem is when I bought my stock (no games came with it) 250gb ps3 it was 299$ and when I look on the bestbuy site the only 250gb ps3's they have are 249$ and come with the game "the last of us".. now can I just accept and take that bundle for less? Because they don't sell the plain 250 gigs anymore. Or will they give me a gift card? If someone who works at best buy or have done this could answer me that'd be great. Not trying to go through the hassle of waiting 2-4 weeks for a new ps3 to ship out to me just to basically have a referbished ps3 that will die shortly later because of wear and tear.
