I think they're an interesting and fun feature, but I'm certainly not going to become a trophy whore and spend all my time acquiring them. They'll probably become more relevant once home arrives as there will be virtual representations of them rather than just a few pictures and a number.
Well, no I don't really think MS is losing out. A portable console would cost them hundreds of millions to develop, market, etc and really there is a high risk that they won't get a decent penetration into the handheld market. Nintendo has dominated and is dominating. Sony has managed to get in, hit it's stride, and do reasonably because playstation itself is a household name, and when the psp was initially released, the ps2 was dominating. For Microsoft, the potential risk outweighs any benefits they would see.

Isn't that what everyone does in system wars tries to do by attacking the other platform. As for the TC, I mostly agree with him considering he's made some valid point which have been backed up by various previews, reviews, articles, and sales data.
Well actually, it's relativly accurate. They have the ps3 at around 14.5 million units and sony had stated in it's financial report that ps3 were around 14.4 million. Now as for 360 sles I actually trust it more than microsoft's numbers considering microsoft tends to overesitmate it's sales by giving us the numbers shipped not sold.
It doesn't really have any cursing or sexual content or even that much extreme violence. However, if you want to convince your parent, I would reccomend downloading the demo and play through it for them, showing that it's not that bad.
Even if I had both consoles I would still get the ps3 version. 1 Disc versus potentially 5 discs, and of course there are ramblings of exclusive ps3 content for the game (http://www.ps3center.net/story-1878-Sonys-Jack-Tretton-Disappointed-with-Square-Enix-Final-Fantasy-Decision.html), so the decision iwouldn't be that hard for me.
