How stupid can you get? I never said either company was better in my post. Also, your username and shitty death note avatar make you lose what little credibility you had in the first place. (Where are your numbers to counter my non-existent numbers eh? You also seemed to completely miss my point that neither company can pull a huge lead on the other.)

Also, I just use whatever card that works better, it can be either amd or nvidia depending on what I want. However, here's some food for thought seeing you like nvidia so much you have to go out of your way to talk shit to someone who doesn't hate the big green in the first place:

Jesus, why do I even bother. PC part brand wars are worse than console wars. It brings out all the 2l33t4u shit heads that can't even use proper English.

Oh wait, I'm arguing with a 12 year old on gamespot. What has become of my life. "pure performance," oh my sides.

The funny thing about the nextbox, is that none of the specs have been revealed. There haven't been any dev kit leaks that I know of or anything. The rumor about the console needing an always on internet connection is kind of amusing though. It's as if paying for an online service that doesn't deter microsoft from putting ads on your console or not funding dedicated servers for games wasn't enough. I really enjoyed my 360, but the ride went downhill pretty fast after the kinect.

Also, the amount of money microsoft charges devs to post updates for their games on live is outright laughable.

@wumpscutnut nVidia doesn't make the best gpus, how biased can you get?

Honestly the difference between big red's and big green's flagship architectures is very minimal at most. The only downside to AMD's cards is the occasional driver screw-up, and no hardware physx. However, nvidia does the same thing from time to time, and not many games use hardware physx. It's like trying to decide between two high performance cars, both equally fast. It's a personal brand preference if anything.

Lets be honest, even if nvidia did make another console gpu, to keep the costs down, you would see a chip that's around 2 to 3 gens old pcwise. If they made a gpu for the ps4 or any other console right now, it would probably be a re-branded gts 2xx or 4xx series gpu, and no, not the high end ones like the gts x80/x85 models either. As long as its better than the RSX(which doesn't take much seeing it's a watered down 7800), it would work for them if the console sold well. Meh, nvidia seems to be getting greedier, must be the green logo.

It's kind of a shame that 3dfx got bought out by nvidia however long ago that was, but whatever. Brands mean nothing, numbers do all the talking, and I haven't been disappointed by a single AMD or nvidia gpu yet.
