@Style11 @charlesdao

This is not just a power battle, it's about costs, for example you can get a case for arround 350 that run games better than a PS3, that's just a little difference considering the fact that a PC is not only for playing videogames.

Maybe a HD7850 it's enough, with 2gb of RAM I think it will be enough to play movies in 4k and run games in 1080p, considering the costs in the Q4 of this year I think that an equivalent power vcard will be inside the PS4.

I don't know why are idiots saying that a 400 (probably with production costs over the selling price) console running "on max" will piss off PC gamers, a high end videocard it's not necesary for run most games at max settings, and for the other side (and I'm not saying it for style11) idiots saying that a 400 dlls console can't beat a 600 dlls vcard, that's stupidly obvious.

Why are people still thinking Cell processor can emulate the universe? It was marketing like SEGA with the "blast processing". I remember that ridiculous copy &paste wars between fanboys, saying nonsense shit about ps3's power. The PPEs are not real cores, if it was true, PS3 would costed like 1500 dollars. The reason because developers didin't liked Cell it's because you need to program like in a multicore, but in 7 "minicores" beside in two or three normal cores, that is more work for the same result as in Xbox360. A Core 2 duo has a bit more power than Cell.

Emulation was a good option, considering the fact that they will need PS3 farms to run propperly PS3's games. Probably the streaming will come from X hardware emulating the console.
