It offers a singleplayer experiences, and that's the way I play it. And I'm capable of choosing which games I play for myself.

Why the heck would I want to do something like that?

I don't!

The real reason is because (back when I posted that comment), I lived in an area that had VERY bad internet connection. And since I don't play online multiplayers, why should I be forced to be online for a singleplayer game?!

Being forced to be online for a singleplayer game, when the internet is so slow, means I can't actually play the game. So it would be a waste of money buying the expansion if I can't even play it.

But no, apparently, since I'm a random person on the internet that you know nothing about, that must mean I'm a kid and I like to hack things and ruin the experience. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

I want to play it. Heck, I want to play the first exapnsion. But I can't.

Only way I'll be spending money on any of these expansions is if they allow the game to be played offline.

- EA should take their own advice and stop releasing annual sports titles. I've said it before that they should cycle through them - one sports title a year, and with 4 titles that gives 4 years development. In the mean time they can support the previous games with roster updates. This way new versions of a title will be vasty different and superior to the last - instead of rehashing the same game each year with little more than roster updates and engine tweeks being sold at full price.

- Of course CoD: Dogs is a best seller on PS4 - there aren't any other games available for it yet. Well, not ones worth mentioning.

- I've heard of this Bing thing, but I couldn't tell you want it actually is. And I'm pretty sure I've never actually used it - that I'm aware of.

- OK, so a quick Google search tells me that Bing is a search engine. Thanks, now I've just wasted my "learn something new every day" on a piece of useless infomation.

Will Gamespots video player be updated soon. It really needs the ability to show how much of the video has been pre-buffered. I can't believe such a basic and important feature wasn't implemented from the start.

- I don't care if a game runs at 720 of 1080 or 4000 or 1,000,000 resolution. I just don't care. The only thing that matters as far as resolution is concerned is how it affects framerate - and even then I'm not talking about higher framerates, I'm talking about STABLE framerates.

- Diablo is a series that I would only ever play on PC. Despite the developers making design decisions to make Diablo 3 better suited for console (watering down the game essentially) - the overall gameplay is still best suited for a mouse/keyboard.

- I don't mind Watch Dogs being delayed. I'd rather they take the time to finish the game properly, rather than releasing it half-baked and in need or constant patch updates and DLC to milk the content that was cut from the game. Having said that - if Ubisoft are going to turn Watch Dogs into the cash cow to replace AssCreed, then I won't be playing anything more than this first one. Actually, that begs the question, are they delaying this game so that they get an extra year to develop the sequel (that will innevitably be released the year after). This is Ubisoft we are talking about - it wouldn't surprise me.

- Anyway, I wasn't planning to buy a next-gen console this year anyway. There simply aren't enough games out for it and I'm a bit short with Xmas coming up. I don't like any of the release line-up - all the games I want aren't out until at least March (inFAMOUS), or later (Watch Dogs, MGS). In the meantime I'll need to get my PS3 fix/replaced and get myself a copy of GTAV. Or if it gets announced on PS4 then I might just wait.

Oh for sure, frame-rate is important. But that's not really the issue here. I'd rather have lower resolusion with stable frame-rate instead of higher resolution and unstable frame-rate. And that applies to all games, not just shooters.

This is why I'm not all that fussed about Watch Dogs working at a lower resolution.

But that still doesn't make you a "better gamer" - it just means you're not hindered / at a disadvantage.

It makes a game look better, but that doesn't mean the game itself is any better. Unless of course your game is Dear Esther and the game is all about looking at things - then yes, how good those things look will affect how good the "game" is.

So what they are saying is that it only matters for FPS games (and by association it only matters to casual gamers). Which doesn't really make you a better gamer, especially if you're playing an FPS on a console in the first place.
