For a launch title, one could do a lot worse, and i did enjoy the multiplayer of Killzone 3.
my thing is that i will be going in with very low expectations for it's singleplayer.
I remember really not liking Killzone 2, from it's controls to it's really rote story. Killzone 3, i was hooked when i saw this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzOXB1zzkDo
I mean wow, how can you not get excited at that setting for an FPS. and yet, they don't even come close to capitalizing on it, it's just there for window dressing. In terms of single player that was a real let down.
So while i really really like the setting for Killzone : Shadow Fall and will likely enjoy the minute-by-minute gameplay and it's multiplayer portion, i'm really holding no hope for a decent or even slightly breaking the mold single player campaign.
yeah i expect so. while i'm not at all one of the people who keep clamoring for female leads in everything. I'd actually like to see female lead in one of the big entries.
I'm currently playing AC3: Liberation, and while i like it, the dialog writing could of been done much much better. but the same could be said for some of Connor's motivations and dialog in AC3.
@Hey_Jay @SaudiFury huh interesting, that'll make this the first big entry where they have gone BACK in time rather then pushing further to the present.
Connor was allright, I guess what i think characterized him best was 'guy trying to do the right thing, but is very naive, single minded, driven, stubborn, and blind'.
i'll wait to see what E3 will reveal, dunno how well a pirate themed AC game will work, plus i don't know how it'll fit in the overall story.
