He whined and whined about 'issues' but I watched the video and all I could see was fun fun and more bloody fun ...., playing the game right now, it's fecking fun!!
Yep it truly is an addictive and enjoyable game. My only gripe would be that in order to finish the latter levels you have to revisit previous levels again and again and again in order to rack up enough xp (to gain enough xp access to further the game via better times, better scores, better points etc) thus slowly turning a once enjoyable game increasingly into a grind.....
yep this is an incredible enjoyable and addictive game, my one fustrating gripe is that I wish to complete the latter levels (i'm @ 39) but because i don't have enough xp i have to revist earlier levels, again and again and again (quicker time, most points, better skill .... etc) that its turn from enjoyable pick up to annoying chore/slogg...
Also The whole game feels 'soft' , texturing, weapons, vehicles etc. Players still can kill you after you clearly killed them 1st. Maps are small but also pointless as all the action centres on a small portion of the map. the grappling hook, zip line and even the stun gun are just pointless gimmicks......I know its beta but even Shanghai got me more excited for the complete game!!
Great stuff, played to death Arkham city (& i'm not a batman fan) it was brilliant so as such I kinda wish it was Arkham Asylum so I could experience that also
TLoU is such a brilliant game its just such a shame that the SP (only) DLC is such a disappointment, not only in character choice, but also in story line, game play mechanics and length! Both GS & IGN rated 'left behind' a 9 but for me it falls a long way short.
1st of all there are more interesting story lines/Characters than Ellie's - Tess's, Tommy's or Marlene's for instance. Secondly half of this DLC 'story' has already been told in the main game ie Ellie going off alone to find medicine for Joel & certainly didn't need a retelling abait differently. Thirdly the other half of the DLC story isn't actually a game at all but a series of long 'emotional' cut scenes coupled with QTE's that have no real relevance to the game as a whole. Fourthly the length & content of this DLC (a few short hours) falls well short of the rather hefty price tag of £11.99 ......... in short all rather disgusting (that I retained my copy for this) as I loved the main game so much I played it four times!!
@Kurushio think of it as open beta, in this way R* will know what the issues are in order to address them. The more interesting point is are they committed to do so ........... they never did resolve the MP3 MP issues
Hope they do sort out the issues as they did with RDR & that was briliant. Thankfully thus far the only issues I've experienced is online freezing and non connection. However you do have to bare in mind that MP3 had a ton of issues that just got worse the more people played, R* never really did resolve those issues ......
