I would suggest that those gaps in the law need to be closed, but then I remembered only the guys with all the power use them.

More importantly, why isn't this being covered more? When a low rent British stand up comedian was avoiding his taxes it made headlines and even the Prime Minister offered his two cents (of course not literally, his money is probably tied up in the same ventures) - when corrupt human beings are holding enough cash to restimulate a nations failing economy nobody gives a toss.

In the UK we constantly hear of the 'obesity epidemic' in the States, but in a world where America is the figurehead for western consumption (how many times have you heard that 'everything is bigger in America'?) I think that image has become kind of exaggerated. The physical shape of the American stereotype has stemmed from American culture.

The UK has an ever expanding waistband, its just a high demand for crappy foods in bigger quantities - kids here get fatter with every year, when I was in primary school there'd be about one fat kid in each class, now I can hardly count them up on my ever ballooning fingers.

And while I hate to say it, I do think that tax measures should be placed on our weight issues - I mean how much is it costing to deal with this? As much as it costs to deal with alcohol or drug addiction? (I really don't know, just throwing that out there). While I understand it is a different situation with privatised healthcare, in the UK obesity is something of a drain on society,

Neither one of them is particularly good - With hindsight we can say Friends hasn't aged well, the jokes seem dated, the characters one dimension (which is why the Joey spin off could never have succeeded) and the episodes are fairly uniform. That said it is still really popular, which is another reason it has fallen in my estimation somewhat, the issue isn't the popularity itself rather the constant reruns because always knowing the punchline kind of kills the joke.

How I Met Your Mother, I am not nearly as well versed in, I've only seen two or three episodes - it has consistently failed to hook me, mainly because it has the same pitfalls as Friend (dating aside for now).

Sitcoms need great writing to be of substance, and off the top of my head I'd struggle to think of many that actually work.

I haven't seen you in ages. Have you been missing, or am I just looking in the wrong places?

I check in every once in a while, my time is not my own as it once was and so it is harder for me to do so.

If any old vets show up around this time they're just looking for votes, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction :P

I'm not really a fan, I find his work kind of dull, although I respect its significance in the world of literature.

Anyway, as a schoolboy I was always fond of Titus Andronicus, it had enough blood to appease a 15 year old.

As for his worst Timon of Athens is a piece of crap.

I don't see him all that often really. But he has managed to cultivate himself a varied career, so no, not really.

While I don't like throwing around names here, and there are the obvious choices, but realistically all of them have different strengths and weaknesses. Of course, in reference to a director with my personal favourite in style and flair, David Lynch gets my vote.
