The only time I remembered having lucid dreams coming from playing video games came back in 2009. I was playing inFAMOUS religiously and I was Cole shooting electricity and doing battle in my dreams.

I read an article, about 4 or 5 years ago, that many hard core games are really depressed, video games are a distraction, ect. I think so. I've been hospitalized for months and I do speak from hand experience.
Video games: the most addicting drug or "drug" on the planet. I think so.
In reference to the previous show, "Do Video Games Make You Smarterer?" Yes. The mind and brain are like a muscle. The more you use it, the better. Einsteins brain had tight neuro-connections. Exercise your mind/brain to keep it sharp.
I would have hoped the Kinect would have it own dedicated CPU and memory. Microsoft is supposed to free up more of the reserved Kinect memory for game developers can use at their discretion to improve frame rates. That's the way it should have been from the start.
I'll get a PS4 and hold off on getting an Xbox One for a while.
Great job Jess. It is a treat to be able to share my love of video games with the most lovely Australian woman from far away. I wouldn't care what you had to say, I will always tune and listen.
*Cyberpunk 2077* That looks tantalizing. "A true RPG and not a multiplayer shooter" It sounds great. It sounds Mass Effect-ish. I rarely play on-line, but Mass Effect 3 was perhaps the most fun on-line games I've played along with Gears of War 3. No stress, jut fun.
"Best looking game" Looks do matter somewhat, but looks aren't everything. Best looking isn't everything. The game has to be interesting, fun, the drugery and tedium kept to a minimum. inFAMOUS, NHL 14, Saints Row 2, 3, and 4 are far from being the best looking games but they are fun and addicting.
The best looking games on the PS3 IMO are "The Price is Right" and "Family Feud" and "Back to the Future" downloadable game. They look great because not much is every happening on screen. The Back to the Future Game looks great, but it will bore you to tears.
I also think its great how Sony may have PS1 emulation for the PS4. It always good to have a few PS1 games around in case Poison Control tell you to induce vomiting ASAP!!!
@RicanV Not necessarily. If I had one the original PS3s--the very high power consuming PS3's--I would trade in that PS3 for an Xbone and then buy one of the newer slim model PS3 too.
Just seeing you too enjoying a game and making fun commentary about a game you find interesting is what's most important.
Lucius looks interesting. I would have never heard of it if wasn't on this show.
Suggestions: I don't really know what to suggest, but I'll try:
Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2: More than a few years old, but not passe.
Naughty Bear and Naughty Bear Panic in Paradise: A dark comical video game about a sociopathic teddy bear who doesn't get invited to a birthday part and then an island vacation. Naught Bear feels left out and wants revenge. So he go around hacking and slashing all the other teddy bears. The kill scenes are great. He gets on top of the other teddy bear pounds his face with an ax, or puts the other bear's face into a lawn mower, ect. You can upgrade Naught Bear so he looks like Jason from the Friday the 13th film series. The comical commentary too.
Some of the objectives can be confusing for some of the missions. For example, To "spook" that one bear, you first need to hack him a couple times, then pick him up and scare him.
Saw and Saw II : They can have lots of puzzles which may not make for a game worth completing. "Appreciate life of die"
You're personalities are the star of the show. It doesn't really matter what you play.
