Heat? They kind of won a championship with Small Ball
I meant the Knicks haven't played a team that runs a traditionally "big" lineup yet. Which could pose a problem for their small ball.
Tough test for the Knicks tonight. None of the teams they've played so far have really had the roster to challenge the small ball lineup they've been utilizing. And they're probably gassed from last night's tough game too. Wouldn't be shocked to see them lose for the first time tonight.
When Amare comes back this team is going to be a wreck.-Halftime-
He's at home watching this team prosper, and planning their downfall.
As a Knicks fan..I'm just hoping Woodson makes Amare the 6th man, but glues his ass to the bench during crunch time. Any offense he'd provide doesn't make up for his atrocious defense.
The regular season might turn out better than I expected, but it won't mean much if the end result is another first round exit. Expecting a championship run would be foolish (Since Miami's still in the east), but I think a run to the ECF could be possible.
Also, I'm hoping when Amare is healed up that he takes on a 6th man role. The floor spacing, defense and passing in the starting five is MUCH better without him.
