If they would just let the series rest for a year I would actually be interested, but until then...Boycott!

Why boycott? Just wait three months until it drops in price. Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 are already $16 and $28.99 on Amazon and those were Xmas 2012 games. If the sales took a harsh drop they might actually think of some new ideas and take a year off. I have no problem paying for a game, but I'm just sick of paying for the same crap they keep releasing.
Honestly, probably Destiny on the new Xbox. I am thoroughly unimpressed with anything that has come out recently. Except for Borderlands 2 and even that was a lot of rehashing old ideas and not enough new ones.
I love the series, especially the original Modern Warfare, but most of what they have done in the last few installments they could have done through expansions on to MW2 and Black OPs.
Yeah, there is too much money to be lost by coming up with an original idea and giving the damn series a break. If everyone would just lost interest for a year they would have to go back to the drawing board.
Remake? Won't happen. FFX just got an HD enhancement. FF7 if it gets anything will probably get the same thing. This is because Square openly announced that they are trying to have an FF to beat FF7, so they aren't remaking it unless it's like to prevent bankruptcy or something, and to be honest, by that time it will be pretty much pointless.

I didn't know X got an HD remake. I wish I still had a PS3. I would just play the original but I don't know what happened to my copy. That does kind of suck that they aren't remaking these games, but I can understand their reasoning, and on top of that, the market has been flooded with far to many remakes.
I think overall I enjoyed Final Fantasy X better. I did, however, find the story in Final Fantasy 7 to be more engaging, that's not to say that X wasn't. I thought that the gameplay for X was better overall and lets face it, the graphical enhancement does make it much prettier to look at. I think both of these games are in serious need of a remake on the next gen since they did not get it this gen.
The 360 is great and if Microsoft was smart they would simply build on the great things about it instead of trying to completely change everything. More or less I just want great games, especially co-op games. My two best friends and I all went are separate ways after high school so now we only talk on XBL.
