I've been having alot of fun with Warhawk and COD4 on the PSN. There isnt a shortage of people on the PSN.

There isn't a shortage, no, but the average person knows more people with a 360 than a ps3. Lets face it, the 360 has been out longer, and more people have had the chance to buy one. On an average night at around 11 or 12 I can go on xbox and there will be about 10-20 people that I actually know, and we usually play some halo or cod...and yeah. It makes things very easy and fun. I'm also a pc gamer, and although there are lots of people online playing games, I'd still rather play with friends.

Pretty much. I know hermits use constant updating as an advantage, but sometimes sticking to a unified graphical standerd can be an advantage. In the case of crysis they aimed too high, in the case of half life 2 valve were right on.

Hl2 was hard to run for a lot of people back in the day, but as time went on it became easier and easier. I believe crysis has the same fate. I remember playing hl2 when it came out on medium settings and it still stuttered because of that audio glitch.

The witcher, Guild Wars, WoW, neverwinter nights 2, oblivion, pirates of the burning sea, mass effect, mass effect 2, guild wars 2, fallout 3, space seige, lotr: the white council, etc etc etc. And those are just new rpgs, even though there are plenty of oldschool ones that are still better than most new ones.

Blu-ray is a very, very important feature of the PS3 going forward. This is not the last time you will hear about it in systems war, because it will help sell the PS3, and take millions of gamers along.

In marketing, to have a device as a object of desire, something that can impress a girl, is a big asset. There is no denying that girls are more likely to be impressed with PS3 owners than other console owners. The idea that the PS3 can be associated with a romantic activity (cuddling to a Blu-ray movie) is not a bad association. If I were Sony, I would not be afraid to use this association in marketing.

Alright, I'm just throwing something out here, but chances are if a girl doesn't play games, she won't know a thing about hd-dvd or blu-ray, never mind which one is better. Just think about it for a second. Dvd is still the most popular format, and if you had a 360 with the hddvd addon, and you tell her that it plays high def movies, she would either be like oh cool, or she wouldn't really care. There is about a 0.00000000000001% chance she'll go OMG 360 SUXXXX blu-ray is better.

your right, she probably won't care what blu-ray or hd dvd is, but she sure is going to like watching a high def movie on a high def tv man, and don't generalize women and act like theyre that dumb. ill be like hey wanna watch (whatever movie) on my ps3, o0o and then it looks amazing and then she likes ps3 because she'll think it plays great movies

I wasn't generalizing, just combating his statement. I never said anything 100%, just what would most likely go down.
