how do you transfer your files from your old xbox harddrive to the new one. i have one of the original launch xboxs and want to pick up this one but I am worried about losing all of my files. some how my xbox never red ringed lol

My xbox is 3 years old and this problem is just starting now. Everything works on the xbox, the only problem is the tray wont open. It opens if you use the system "open tray" function. but when you press the exterior button on the console the tray will not open. I think the button is the problem, anyone know how to fix this?
