I've got it down to the Joker and Sephiroth battling it out in the end, with Sephiroth prevailing. But my god was it hard to choose the winner between Vader and GLaDOS - my heart said GLaD, but my internet-sense said Vader. As much as we love Portal, there will always be more Star Wars fans.

I look forward to seeing what Cryptic make of the franchise, I'm fairly excited to see another decent space game since Freelancer. Lets hope they step up to the mark and make it as successful as City of Heroes. (On a side note: shouldn't this be updated to 'Paragon Studios', since they changed their name?)
I don't think I've ever seen or heard anything as offensive to my ears or sanity. I hope the developers go bankrupt and die of aids. Communist aids.
I think the story line is definitely worth telling, as it's probably the most enthralling and epic in a story line to date that I have played. Its length is easily adaptable to the big screen without needing to cut out any of the storyline seen, and I'm sure we would get a lot more dialogue and depth to the characters than previously seen. Plus it would be lovely to see proper Star Destroyers and Tie Fighters in full 3D - as mentioned in previous posts, it could become the best new Star Wars movie with more Lightsaber-on-Lightsaber battles that all the movies combined and bridging the large time gap between III and IV. I'm not too sure how they would get around the nicely planned out numbering... Episode III.V hardly has the same ring to it. And I'm eager to see which ending they choose to go with (although I have only seen the 'light' ending, so perhaps the Dark one does not tie in with the real story... but I will answer that question myself in due time, while struggling on the hardest difficulty available to me). As also mentioned, I would only possibly accept this as a promising idea if it were live-action. All the character models were based off real people, so if they can properly act as well as they can mo-cap, then the movie will look very authentic indeed. I found the voice to be very good in the game for all the characters, whether the original or not, so I would have no problem with that. With voice manipulation technology today you could probably get a teenage girl to voice Darth Vader and it would sound the same. That being said, I would definitely look forward to knowing a little more about how Starkiller was trained by Vader and I think this story deserves to be told to a wider audience than just the gamer market. They could probably achieve this with a graphic novel series, but nowadays the movie audience is a much larger target. The whole idea makes sense, and will undoubtedly make LucasArts millions more than they already have. I generally give the idea a thumbs-up, as long as it is done right - and by right, I mean perfectly. Hopefully Mr.Lucas as learnt his mistake from Episode I.
Good for those of us who have unwillingly sided with Microsoft until Sony gets cheaper. Lets hope it makes it's way to the US, then to us in Europe. Ands lets hope the price stays down during that time... Otherwise, I look forward to a chaper PS3 to play the console specific games, like MGS4. Slow and steady wins the race, Sony.
I can easily understand the petitioners point of view. Devil May Cry 4 should be loyal to Sony, as I think the best game should be for the best platform, lol. However, I also understand Capcom and it's desire to reach a broader audience for more profit... Although, I bet anything that it will sell more copies on the PS3. (No wonder the PS3 has bad figures if all the good games are multi-platform now!)
I think it's great that theyre bringing in veterans (or atleast people who know how to make good-quality games based on, if not the orginal, quality of Warcraft and Warcraft 2) to add their valuable knownage to the mix in these kinds of things. WoW is already a fantastic game, so this expansion should make it even better! It's nice that they havent forgotten the guy who left, since he was such a special part of Blizzard before!
