I don't think the original has aged well, but I love Spyro 2 and Spyro: Year of the Dragon is my favourite game of all time. After the PlayStation games, I think that the series started going downhill, with the exception of the GBA Spyro games that Digital Eclipse made.
While I like Crash, I've always prefered Spyro due to the fact that I prefer open world collect-a-thons more than traditional linear platforming. On other notes, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person who likes the GBA Spyro and Crash games.
