You notice that there haven't been many TV commercials so the money was spent elsewhere (Master Chief statue, Battle of New Mombasa diorama, Internet distributed trailers). This is actually a good sign for the video game industry, the simple fact that this huge marketing campaign is practical is a sign that the industry is becoming publicly accepted. I think that both console and PC gamers (IE me and you) can enjoy that happy thought. Microsoft might now make some money with video games, that way we keep getting Halo and Crysis, and all that other good stuff for Xbox and Windows.

@stonermargera I think it's you who's clumsy with a controller but whatever, even if my precious console is a gigantic battle axe compared to the apparently fine rapier that is a mouse I still get the best games and I don't fork over 2,000 dollars to play them. Now I'm not anti-PC by any means but I really don't feel like paying a small fortune for a decent rig when I could pay a couple hundred for a console which shall remain top-of-the-line for years longer. If I play a PC game it's gonna be a Strategy game or a sim, for Shooters I turn to my Xbox 360. Oh yeah, and a quick question. Have you played a Wii shooter (MP3 or RE4, those are basically the only ones)? If you have tell me how you would rate that control scheme. and @ppau08223 - you can think what you want but you can't deny that Halo is quite pioneering in its integration of on-foot and vehicle action, and that no other game has saved films AND a multiplayer map-editor for multiplayer maps.

It's not about how Halo 3 has better graphics than other games, it's about how the graphics of Halo have evolved to where they are now. You're allowed to be a fanboy, but try not to humiliate yourself, you degrade the ranks of Sony and PC fans everywhere (although in Sony's case that is quite monumental).

I disagree, the vehicles look galaxies better even in this beta and the SPARTANs look worse.
