@shingui5 You're right. I bought the $30 for two months card. But either way, it's still more expensive than Xbox Live.

I wonder how some people can be so dense. There is a rating system and generally the games that you see kids on these days they shouldn't even be playing. I don't think you should blame video games I think you should blame the parents for suddenly starting to care about their children in the worst possible way.

I really like the idea of giving the player the option to choose whatever style they want. The problem is that while you do have a choice, it seems certain game mechanics benefit the player more, i.e. in Deus Ex Human Revolution if you choose to be stealthy and take out people without killing them you get more experience. If a game has just one type of game mechanic, it could be more expanded upon. Which would be different from just having a basic mechanic for different things. I guess it's really up to the majority to decide what they want. Money talks, and the more people buy games that give them more than one option of game play, the more developers will continue to make those types of games.
