I feel sorry for this game. The idea was sound, but with bland writing and a one horrible gameplay bug...it kinda died.
I wanted to like Infinite Undiscovery. I really did. It had a good story concept, a decent combat set up, you could even get a hulking russian bear thing on your team eventually just to shack things up a bit. So what wen... Read Full Review2 of 4 users found the following review helpful
I'm not sure what it is exactly, but there was something about "Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten" that had me hooked to it that the previous game just couldn't seem to provide. I had to actually toss in the previous game... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Armored Core 4....well...actually ANY Armored Core game, is a complex followthrough on a simple idea; build a robot then go out and blow things apart with it. As time went on, however, the features grew and grew until, ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Devil Surviver takes SMT series in a new direction on a new system and still manages to stay just as strong as before.
Often times it's rare for a game series to be removed from it's native system, be completely reinvented as a seperate title, and still get as much respect as it's previous entries on the first try. Considering the fact t... Read Full Review3 of 4 users found the following review helpful
I liked it for what it was, but Spectral Force 3 was about 10 years to late to keep up with the tactic games out now.
I've never played any of the Spectral Force games before, but I don't think this was nearly as bad as Gamespot makes it out to be. Other than the glaring problem of it freezing during the silly/lame story telling scenes…... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Soul Calibur 4 is a great game that represents the series well on the PS3, however if you are a player that experienced the series before, you may notice that Soul Calibur 4 play a little game of give and take since it's... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Mass Effect takes the next step of RPG storytelling to a whole new, and incredibly innovative, level.
Bioware is known for its ability to hook gamers who love to do things their way in role-playing a story. It's the little things, really, from the vast amounts of conversational options, to the ability to permanently impa... Read Full Review3 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Even if you give a book a new cover that doesn't mean the reading experience is any better or worse than it already was.
A final fantasy for the DS? Is it to good to be true? Well, maybe. You see, this Final Fantasy 3 is the origanal Final Fantasy in Japan that never made it to the USA or UK until fairly recently and, while it does look gr... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Dynasty Warriors 5 is pretty much the same game it's always been, choose your favorite warrior and wade through hundreds of thousands of armed chinese soldiers to reach the big man on campus and kick his or her butt. It'... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
It was okay. Maybe it's because I got this one after playing both SO1 and SO3, but this wasn't nearly as interesting.
Star Ocean: The Second Story was good enough when you only considered gameplay. Your characters could learn and grow according to the vast amount of skill combonations that applied to them and you fought monsters that ac... Read Full Review0 of 3 users found the following review helpful
I've never played a Front Mission game before this one. I tryed FM4 after this one but I found FM3 far more entertaining
I know there's a debate with die hard fans of this serise that involves some apperant differences in FM3 that seem to seporate it a little from FM, FM2 and FM4. I can't honestly say I know the exact nature of the debate ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
A wonderful game and a great experience. The only problem here was that everything is said and done under 7 hours.
Tomb Raider is back with a polish that put the series back in the saddle. Well, in truth it could have had a lot to gain form increased difficulty and more of it. Over all though it was an extremely fun experience and wo... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
This is a game I consider a classic and still play today. If you ever get the chance, play it and you will see why.
It’s an old game, but I still play it because it just so fun. There are some games that just surpass time and EV Nova is one of them. It’s just too bad it didn’t get more recognition otherwise I’d have all the sequels to... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
It was a lot of fun, but ends really fast and there isn't much to make it stand out from any other FPS. STORYLINE: The story was told between chapters by actors, which is an unusual spin for two reasons: (a) most ga... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Dreamfall was a unique experience to say the least, the game play was a little too easy and dry for me, but somehow I just couldn’t stop playing it just the same. It’s presentation alone makes you want to keep going and ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
