@maanyaqoob If it wasn't for PCs, you may not have had consoles as you know it. Wolfenstein 3D inspired Doom and every other FPS. Storytelling techniques improved with every new adventure game (and before that, text adventures).

I'm not trying to take away consoles' influence on gaming. Atari, Nintendo, and Sega paved the way for Microsoft and Sony.

But to say that gaming would suck without consoles? So very untrue. Most of gaming's origins come from PC.

There are things in the Bible that so-called Bible-thumpers don't follow because they're out of date. So why, then, must this one alone stand true? Because ONE religious text says so? Just because it's the belief of one religion doesn't mean it's the belief of all. And for that matter, there shouldn't be a mixing between church and state, anyway, because faith in something is not law.
