@1947gamer Try again I remember that part, its kinda difficult because you are just starting to learn how the combat works, trust me once the game progreses you will get loose in combat, one of the things I like of the game is that it requieres skill with the controller, lately games seem to do everything with a single button so one more reason to get LOS 2

I really want LOS 2, I got my copy of the first game some weeks ago, and wow, now that was a perfect purchase, the game is just amazing I really liked the story, the combat, and the trailers for LOS 2 have me really wanting more.................

@DeanoFantasy I agree, the game is fantastic, with lots of potential LOS 2 will be amazing cant wait to have it, I hope they sell a collectors edition of the game

you make a point its in the western parts where the game did not seem to do well, Did you get to finish the game????? I'm not sure how to explain to you why I like it, I think the voice acting is great, the characters are interesting ,Vanille is so sweet, it just takes a bit to see what’s the deal with her, I don't agree with you in not having an epic journey, in my point of view they do, I mean they all get tangled in the purge and end up in the same place towards a similar goal for different reasons, than they become L'cie, so they are kind of doomed if they don't figure out there focus, but there only clue is this weird vision, when they find out what they have to do in order to not become cie’th, they decide to fight fate and go against everything no matter what becoming friends, its such a great story, fal'cie, L'cie thing....... I think the music isn't as peaceful as you say, it changes a lot true out the game, I actually have it on my pc and I really enjoy listening to it, it reminds me of some really cool parts of the game, like when they become L'cie the music has this mystery and sadness, one of my favorite pieces of the music in the game is when you go to the fifth ark, its called "will to fight" it gets me so excited you can see that a challenge is up ahead, that part of the game is one of my favorites, there is just this message in the game about not giving up, friendship, I could go on and on, the combat system after you become a L'cie actually makes you think, whats the best paradigm to use against the monsters and enemies you face, you can’t use the same ones on everything, mastering it can challenge you, the twists in the story, I just really love the games, lightning is my favorite character along with fang, they are all great in there on way.....

Maybe you need to play it with an open mind to enjoy it, I’ve always though that every final fantasy game has been different, and I like that.

People complained about not having more of an open world, that really did not bother me, the story compliments those aspects, XIII-2 opened that up and the story is really good too, the ending just left me with my mouth open, both of them did, tears everywhere and questions of course……..

Give it another try maybe you will like it more

I agree Japanese like the games and thanks to them and some people on the other side I can actually get one more game with lightning, I'm from Mexico and I absolutely love the lightning games, I will support this game till the end
