Sounds like MS is starting to pull themselves together. I'll take a fresh look again when both consoles come out and evaluate then. Still leaning towards PS4-only although I'd like to get both if the One is viable.

@Agent_Vincent87 They could be hooked up to the same tv although it's probably only really relevant if you have two gamers in a house, one plays on the 360 and one plays the One on separate tvs. It's definitely only going to affect specific people who live in that sort of situation. I'm thinking siblings still living at home, most likely?

CD Projekt Red definitely takes a risk with their business model and I really hope it pays off for them. I'm a big fan of gog.com and The Witcher series. I look forward to seeing how Cyberpunk turns out for them, as well.

@Mr_BillGates Anyone who lives by that mentality probably isn't having issues with this to begin with, though.

@Pawfalcon The way companies like this work, any cost to battle a lawsuit will only hurt the developers at Maxis and the others in EA's pen. Won't hurt the true criminals at all. Sad but that's the way things are...

I'm not going to make a general statement like I'll never buy an EA game again but I'm certainly never buying online-only DRM games like this... $80 for the Digital Deluxe pack and I can't do a thing with it...

Even server issues aside, this is far from the best SimCity game out there although that is certainly the worst problem with it. I'd still be hesitant to give it any better than an 8.

I'm sure the low review score is because while the reviewer enjoyed it, it's not going to appeal to everyone since it's clearly not combat oriented or dramatic like the rest of the series.

@taoosten - That game definitely suffered issues but as someone who preordered bother games, this one is so far beyond what Diablo 3 suffered. I agree though, that game should have suffered in ratings too. Any and all games that require constant connection to servers should be rated down since it is a massive disservice to fans.

Am I the only one who thinks this series needs to end... God of War was great and while I'm not a fan of spin-offs/side-stories/etc, the PSP games were alright but it's done. These games all seem reaching for story threads that simply aren't there. The game has hardly changed a lick since the first one and it needs to stop. If you aren't going to change the game mechanics, please at least change the character/setting. Kratos is done.
