The price of the game is a moot point almost though. It might be a factor in determining a purchase for some people but I would have to assume for the most part it won't. Sony and MS are pushing to the point where they'll have enough economies of scale in order to charge the maximum the market will bear above equilibrium price. If you own one of their consoles, you'll have to buy their games and be stuck paying whatever it is they charge. In response to an earlier comment concerning a correlation between price and quality... that's unfortunately not an axiom. Look at the Delorean (or power glove) for an example.
