As a new rule, Trolls should be fed to Sharks and/or Crocodiles.

Like this person just said, ''Why would you need to customize your looks in a first-person-shooter game?'' It's not even like Borderlands where on occasion you see yourself. Also, as you pointed out, it is NOT Skyrim with guns, hence, why does it need explorable dungeons when the world is already so HUGE? Yes ok if they make good revenue (which it looks like they're well on their way to) they should have explorable dungeon like areas in a sequel; But I'd say this game is amazing as is, and stands out as a game of its own, not needing to assimilate itself to other popular game genre. It also doesn't need tons of guns; the game isn't all about weapons like a typical shooter, and it encourages you to use your machete takedown combos more than firearms, which I believe will become their trademark. The one thing I found Skyrim lacked, was a revolutionary organic combat/movement system, which this game totally nailed. I'll agree with you that game does not have much variability in terms of enemies and outpost/tower elements compared to a Skyrim, but it didn't need to since the fun part was picking off enemies gorilla style in spectacular fashion. (Also because it isn't a fantasy game, you can only vary human enemies so much. Ultimately, a game is subjective to each player, but you're very misleading in saying this game is BORING and REPETITIVE. It is EXCITING and SPECTACULAR if sometimes a bit redundant on environment. (Which any sandbox game this huge has to suffer from.) Cheers.

I'm not being attacked by any priests nor can I find Gjalund Salt-Sage by the Windhelm docks. Am I supposed to restart my game before the DLC will work? What am I doing wrong?!

I've never played an MMO except for Guild Wars (No fees/Low risk of disappointment), I'm more a console gamer, and I'm usually more a single player kind of guy.

1. Can I play the campaign without having to register for PVP?

2. Does the game compare to Knights Of the Old Republic and is it worth upgrading my computer just to play this game?

** I will stress that I am a HUGE KoTOR fan.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

You're way too subjective. Paid for reviews?? Are you kidding? I'm not even going to bother addressing that; though hopefully you would take a minute to read GamSpot's reviewing policies. Next, prices rise with inflation and because games are way more expansive to make than it used to be. Game budgets now look like Hollywood movie budgets and so are the profits. Agreed there are plenty of occasions in which you know the distributor was looking to make an extra buck (DLCs), but the gaming industry isn't dying, to the contrary, it is booming more than ever. Your cynical and fatalistic views on gaming are clearly not shared by the greater demographics who line up for big titles. You're disgruntled about the price and repetitiveness of popular titles. I agree many franchises like COD who releases one game a year inevitably suffers from repetitiveness after a while. Yet, it obviously is a recipe for success seeing how they break record sales year after year. This is also an aging console generation as was mentioned, there's only so much innovation you can pull off with 7 year old tech. Finally, I'm no COD fanatic, but I LOVED black ops compared to other titles of the franchise for its darker tone and amazing voice acting, so when you say gamers got knocked in the teeth, you don't speak for ''the people'', only your personal frustration over a game no one is forcing you to purchase. Screw Angry Birds!

The only thing that slightly annoys me about this fantastic game, is how little spare ammo you can accumulate compared to past Halo games.

In Halo: Combat Evolved , I recall you could have 10 spare clips/reloads for most weapons.

In Halo 4 you only get 4 reloads. Not a big deal when enemies drop ammo, but frustrating when your favorite weapons are DMR, Battle Rifle and SAW, of which you don't find enough lying around to use for more than one or two groups of enemies until you have to find another weapon. On higher difficulties when so much ammo is needed to kill your enemies, a few more spare clips to stack up would have been apprecited.

Anyways I wish we could have more ammo to shoot at glowy heads.

Thus was my only rant about this amazing game. =)

Ya for sure she'll be back but I wonder if it's gonna be new her or somehow remnants of her will remain. Also what the hell happened in the end? You were teleported into some digital world?

I think I'm not the only one as I've read similar claims on HaloWaypoint, but has anyone here had this issue with the sound in cutscenes sounding like it's in an aquarium? For a game with eargasmic sound, this is proving to be annoying.

I finished it. Yes karma will do that. I'm still rattled about... **SPOILERS** Cortana. I'm guessing they'll make up a reason in Halo 5 for her to somehow survive or re-cloned from Halsey. Hey side note, have you noticed the sound in cutscenes being very muffled? It annoys me as hell for a game which has such eargasmic sound to have aquarium sound in cinematics...I'm guessing 343 is already working on it.
