Quit bickering about nothing, children. It's called competition, and if you want an affordable market, you need it. Basic economics... Anyway, I'm glad to see the Japanese people are still somewhat open to this American console. For a while there, I personally thought they were just being overly-nationalist, completely ignoring the American-made console, but it seems it can still turn heads (surprisingly). I hope there is a price cut here in America too. I like seeing them push the envelope a tad bit each year. It shows M$ isn't willing to sit and take it without a fight. Very refreshing after seeing a company like Sega just fall out with almost nothing they could do to stop it. I miss Sega. I loved their consoles and their games... but apperantly 40+ RPGs on the Nintendo console was more appealing then quite a few solid games, each of different genres... (that's just my inner Sega fan crying out, I like Nintendo too) Cheers to video game and consoles sales to all!

No 2nd thumbstick = still a piece of crap. It's only crap 'cause they won't make appropriate games worth having for it. There's a few, but even they feel like they need that extra thumbstick... they won't add another thumbstick untill they're second generation PSP, but untill then, I'm not going to get another. I got the original, that's good enough.

GT sucked, anything from that show, if you can call it that, can go die in a fire. Hell, the later half of Z wasn't really that good at all. I loved the first 2 seasons, and that's about it. After that, everything was pretty same-y and pretty boring. They didn't even really fight after those 2 seasons, they just flew around throwing punches and kicks at random. Hell, if I could fly, I could do that. They're suppose to be these super-powerful, super-skilled martial artists, yet the only time they really used martial arts was in Dragon Ball. I loved that show. Freaking - Awesome. Funny, cool fighting, cool characters, and mature content all rolled into one awesome package. That being said, any talk about adding other characters in kinda upsets me. Any other fighting game is held to higher standards, and DBZ should be the same. Each fighter different, each fighter useful. Then again, the DBZ universe doesn't lend itself well to that thought process... DB did... anyway, I just wish they had done this game right and gone from start to finish, thrown in all the primary characters, and have been done with it. I don't want to have to wait till the second or third one is out until I feel alright with buying the game.

So wait, you'd rather wait half an hour to play a game for the first time just so you might save half an hour of loading if you play it for weeks on end? (and yes, with most of the games listed, the reduction in load time isn't great enough to justify the increase in install) For Assassin's Creed, load times are reduced by 6 seconds, but install time is increased by 21 (or 1260 seconds) minutes. That means that you would have to play for about 17 and a half hours straight (or of combined time) before you would actually be making up time for the install time reduction. I mean, isn't the point so it will take less time when playing your game? Yet this drive seems to only increase your time spent on the one game unless you play it for 17+ hours. That being said, this drive did have a slower burn rate, which seems like a total backwards approach to the purchasing of the drive. Wouldn't you want a drive that had a faster burning speed? Not a slower one? Then the in-game load-times would come secondary, being the reading speeds of the disc. As long as the reading speeds are around 32MB/s, that's fine, it's the install times you really want to cut down on. And who on earth let Sony get away with having installations on their game console?? Doesn't that seem... backwards? I mean, my friend and I usually bring our consoles over to each others house for our own comparisons (yes, we have that kind of free time), and what we've concluded is that a PS3 game looks sharper up close, but foggier from further away. For example, in Oblivion, if you are far away from an object, it looks worse than the same object from the same distance on the 360, but up close, the object looks waay better on the PS3. It's just the way it loads things. Usually, load times seemed pretty close, but most games did load faster on the 360. Another amazing thing I figured out through him is that some game require a download, as in not optional. I laughed my @$$ off. I mean, isn't that one of the perks of having a console over a PC?? You don't have to install, yet load times are still fine and the games run great?? And yet, here we are in todays age of gaming, putting up with ridiculous load times and ridiculous installation times. When did we let this happen?? When did it become okay for a console to take more than 3 to 5 seconds to load, or install onto your console for almost 20 minutes? Wow, our standards must have seriously dropped. You know, from a technology standpoint, I'd almost say that cartridges were a better choice. Hell, we have memory sticks and memory cards and whatnot now, and games on those would require loading, would look exactly the same as they do today, and would never require install. You just put in the memory unit, then go on and play, never having to sit through a single load screen. Whatever, as of now, we're stuck with discs.

You know what, I'm gonna go play and enjoy my 360 now. Trying to calm people down who are arguing for no reason is too annoying. Well, there is a reason. GameSpot just thinks it's absolutely hilarious to make articles like this because they know how everyone is going to react. The reason you're arguing, the real reason, is becuase GS wants you to. It earns them more traffic. You're fighting for the will of the empire you ignorant monsters!!... sorry, overreacted. But seariously, stop arguing here and go play some games. You're just making everyone else think you're stupider... and stupider isn't even a word! Go play your 360, or your PS3, or your Wii, or hell, your Sega Saturn, or your Nintendo 64. Go play something. Surf the internet for... interesting... personal things... just stop arguing for nothing here. You won't convince each other that the other is wrong, and you won't suddenly make the other person start crying in shame and defeat. You're wasting time, time that could be spent with your girlfriend, or for some of you, your imaginary girlfriend... just kidding all. Well, I'ma go play me some Ninja Gaiden Black now in anticipation for NGII. Maybe PS3 owners can play the older MGS's to get ready for MGS 4. Or hell, play Ninja Gaiden Sigma, the re-remake of Ninja Gaiden. -Peace.

TheLastSamurai - "Pros 360: Better lineup of games. Better graphics. Better online play." Wow. You realise, like all your arguments so far, this is simply opinion. Every bit of it. I'm only saying this because I've read several of your posts, and they're embarising to even read. A word like "Better" instantly implies opinion. Nothing is measured in this way. 2 is not better than 1, it's simply a larger number. 360 is not better than PS3, it's simply a different console. There are other post here that just make me quiver in horror that these people play the same games as me. Nonly that, but they feel that they can have an objective opinion of that game, and use their opinion as if it were fact or something. They're games. They play the same. I'm not playing as an indian in my version of CoD4, and your not playing as a tiger in your version of Burnout, we're playing the same game. Also, in case none of you have never read one of GameSpots Graphics Comparisons before, I'm pretty sure they mention that they use the same television for both, 1080p, and they use the 1080p setting for both consoles, so all of you trying to argue that they aren't need to check that out. I'm pretty sure anyway. I don't think I imagined I read that, then again I've imagined stranger things.

Wow, no DMC 4? That's shocking. I would have thought that DMC and GTA would have been the biggest ones here, but I guess not. Some of these games are almost silly in their quality on the PS3. Didn't the last Need for Speed also look really bad on the PS3? That being said, the bigger named games look pretty close, save for Assassin's creed. Some of those structures from far away looked like original Xbox structures. Now, can you play MGS 4 on a 360? Play with your friend on PSN with a 360? Play Blu-rays? Play Final Fantasy? No. That's the point to owning a console, so you can enjoy the biggest exclusives on it, otherwise, if both consoles had the exact same games on them, then yeah, you'd go for the 360. It has overall better quality. It's not a matter of opinion if you go by these screenshots (these ones guys, keep up with me). The 360 version of the games usually looked better, from a tiny bit to a lot. If you're arguing over whether or not your console is better, you are, and I can't stress this enough, an idiot. Your console is yours. It's not better than anyone elses. The games might have better visual quality, or not, but that doesn't make your console better or worse. There's no way of measuring whether or not your console is better, to some degree, and everything else is simply a matter of opinion and personal choice. Me? I roll with the 360 most of the time. I like the controller far more than the Playstations (God of War gave me blisters, no Xbox game has ever done that to me), I enjoy the idea of ahievements, and I like the online community. That's my opinion, that's my personal choice. My friend is more of a Playstation person. He's owned them all, so he got a PS3. He prefers the controller to the 360s, I call him crazy for it, he enjoys his games, and that's that. If you enjoy playing on your console, then don't worry about anything else, because it really doens't matter. "Ooh, the textures are sharper on the 360 version by 12 kb.".... whoopty-doo, the game is exactly the same on both consoles. It's not like instead of your bow shooting arrows it's shooting wisps... or cats. It's still the same game, and it still functions the same. Now, in the case of Need for Speed, that's just unaccepteable for a company to release a game like that. It looks like an unfinished version on the PS3, and that's just stupid. If all the other games can, more or less, look the same, that game can do it. Hopfully you guys will read this and stop bickering like 5 year olds trying to convince one another that the other has funkier morning breathe. You know what they say about arguing on the internet, right? It's just like the special olympics: even if you win, you're still mentally handicapped.

It's still poorly shaped. Tears my hands up when playing something like God of War. My uncle's hands are almost too big for it too, which hurts him a lot.

Strangley, the PSP version only looks slightly worse, but only slightly.... I don't know if that's a plus for the PSP, or a minus for the PS2... or both.
