Damn, another first party game to add to MS's diversifying portfolio.

Sure beats the bland soup of pretty walking simulators that Sony pumps out.

Ouch, kinda worrying that Sony's saving grace is a 'niche' market.

Makes sense now that they're bending the knee to Microsoft. No way would they be able to compete on their own in the coming years with bigger players like Google entering the picture.

All that sweet sweet PSN subs profit will now flow through to MS.

Thanks cows

MS is also buying light sensors and AI tech so it's an exchange. So in other words, your XBL money is also flowing to Sony lol.

Stupid fanboys like you need to get educated about the deal. This isn't a one way deal in any way, both companies are exchanging products and services that are mutually beneficial to each other.

Instead of Sony using their PSN money to build servers and maintain them they get to save money by renting from MS and in exchange MS gets Sony's advanced light sensors and Cloud AI. Both companies are saving and making money. This type of deal is very common in the tech industry, and Sony and MS like they said in the announcement are longtime partners. Sony has been using MS for Windows and Azure for many years now in their main business and their VAIO computers while MS has been paying Sony money for years to use Blu-ray drives in XB1s.

Lems are itching at the thought of Sony bringing their games to Xbox but in actuality Game Pass is the one far more likely to find its way to Sony's system since MS desperately needs the userbase since Xbox is a flop.

LOOOOOL light sensors. Pretty sure MS just accepted that so that Sony could save face.

I'm glad Sony have admitted that PSN is total garbage through this partnership. Thank you MS for help make PSN better.

The complaints levied against the game in regards to it's under-developed story and protagonist is rather silly, as I'm not particularly expecting a story driven "zombie" game. Does the game play well? Is it fun? That's what I expect from a zombie game.

No it doesn't play that well either.

Below are some of the issues you may encounter. We expect major issues to occur only in a small number of games.

  • Your previous Online ID may remain visible to you and other players in some areas.
  • You may lose progress within games, including game saved data, leaderboard data, and progress towards Trophies.
  • Parts of your game and applications may not function properly both online and offline.
  • You may lose access to content (including paid-for content) that you may have acquired for your games including content like add-ons and virtual currency.

Looks great, thanks Sony

LOOOOOL

Seriously though, did anyone expect anything else from Soooony. It seems every time they launch a new PSN "feature", they break something in a process.

PSN needs binned.
