@davism7 "Too salty" and "Too spicey" is no less subjective than just saying it's crap.

And Kevin does point out what game does wrong in his eyes.

Your point was that he's obliged to explain how to make the game better.

He's not.

@davism7

You don't have to be a cook to realize that something tastes like crap.

These reviewers serve the consumer, not the developer.

Their job is to tell you if it's good or not, not to give developer tips on how to make a goty.

@rdemsick "best game out right now for the new generation"

Says more about new consoles than the game.

@Vylsith I've never played an MMO that doesn't allow more than 12 players in session.

So Destiny is not an MMO.

If you wanna see what MMOFPS looks like, play Planetside 2.

Now that we've cleared that up, i've played the beta on my PS4 for all it had to offer and only thing i needed to confirm from this review is "does it get better?".

Turns out it doesn't.

But you sure can drum your little feet on the floor in anger that someone doesn't like the game you suck off so much.

@Vylsith If the game is far from complete, it shouldn't cost $60.

Your stream of apologetic comments is laughable to look at.

@dancthorpe

It happens in prologue, not 20 minutes into the game.

@santinegrete

We're talking about DS2 here, since it's the topic of the article.

As far as DS1 goes, I do agree on Anor Londo archers, but not on souped up Orny.

You choose who gets buffed in that fight. If you chose the scarier one, welp, your fault.

I would say Sen's Fortress was kinda cheap, not because it was too unforgiving, but because the bonfires are way too far apart.

DS2 is way easier though, so i'm baffled when people complain about the difficulty.

@waahahah

Care to provide examples of "cheap" sections?

It's has a tutorial, it has tells to almost every trap or ambush you'll encounter.

It punishes for not paying attention, not for "not knowing".

To put it onto your analogy, it punches you for trying to brute force the puzzle by thoughtlessly slapping each single peace to another until it fits.

@BFKZ Among recent Action RPG games, yes.

Would you argue otherwise?

@BigOrdeal I tried burning money to acquire a car, but it didn't seem to have any effect.
