@silv3rst0rm: RE7 demo was not only replayable, but was designed to be replayed.

@jamez83: You can't counter a stack on the first point defense, champ.

By the time you switch to counter it and jog it to the the point, it's already lost.

No balanced comp is gonna save you from stacking of one particular hero.

At the same time, stacking on defense makes you vulnerable to stacking of another hero.

It's like the attack has to wipe you once and they have an infinite bowl of cheese at their disposal to do it. While you have to wipe all the cheese they throw at you without dying.

First and foremost, this change is gonna make the game more fair for the defending side.

@Lord_Sesshy:

Except they're not similar at all.

The only similarities between them is that they look cartoony and have cooldown-based abilities.

@Lord_Sesshy:

>Except for the actual gameplay itself they are very similar.

Yeah, except for the most important part of any game, these two are basically the same.

Gee, i wonder why they're rated differently.

@RobDev

That's 2 games out of 5(!) that came out that year with above 90 score across 3 Sony platforms. Actually Flower takes 2 spots on the list since it is on Vita too. I would argue that Flower isn't even a game, let alone it being a re-release of a 4-year old title. But hey, desperate as we are, let's count it too and get used to it.

Since 2014 in console gaming has being 90% exactly that, which will no doubt be appearant in this year's metactitic feature.

So, in the end, this is what we all should be jealous of? Being able to play 5 good games across 3 devices?

PC, for example, has the same ammount on ONE device.

@maghdie

Explain your calculus then, please.

Because that link doesn't have numbers supporting your claim.

@GT_APE

Blizzard tend to make lasting games.

Cartoony designs and graphics dont get obsolete over time like realistic ones, so it's only logical.

F.e., Team Fortress 2 and Manhunt 2 came out the same year.

Now compare which of them looks like tosh in 2014.

I can fire up Beyond Good and Evil from 2003 right now and it looks good.

All "cool and adult" games from that time look ancient today.

@PowerDingALing You serious about that "l4d2 involves strategy" nonsense?

Survivors gameplay is basically running the same route every single time.

Infected gameplay is doing the same routine in well-known keypoints to prevent it.

And running down the same corridor is somehow less repetitive than large open maps with randomized wildlife?

"Level system" unlocks new perks and characters.

No better abilities, no better guns.

Proves you've not played it.

@greaterdivinity If not, it'll surely come in a DLC.
