I'm shocked no one has mentioned Pushmo/Pullblox yet! It's an awesome puzzle game made by Nintendo. Other than that, get Link's Awakening and VVVVVV

They don't count digital downloads, for one. Instead they estimate, usually poorly.

The_Stand_In
Neither does the NPD yet we still use them. They also estimate what has actually been sold considering they don't get any figures from WallMart and, I think, another major retail outlet

Read this.

That's an article from almost four years and was at a time when the NPD were more reliable. Websites progress and change pretty rapidly so there's a chance this may be inaccurate now. Is there anything more recent and up to date that we can take stock in?

I'm not here to defend or bash VG Chartz, I just have a genuine curiosity as to why this website gets so much of its hate. I've been on this board for years lurking through threads and I've seen countless "lol no, vg chartz suk" posts but I've never once seen anyone say or prove why it sucks. They just say it's not credible. With nothing to back up that statement. So, apart from the fact that they spell charts with a z, what's the problem? Anyone have links to prove it?

[QUOTE="Quintinius"][QUOTE="AussieePet"]

All that is crap no video = no proof. If you didn't see it with your eyes, your just believing in something base on what you hear.

AussieePet
However, videos can be faked. How would I know if anything is real if I don't see it then? Does that mean America is just a fabrication because I've never seen it? Of course not. Through scientific methods, analysis, study and everything else we can determine and define the existance of something such as evolution.

[QUOTE="Legacy-of-Todd"]

ITT: People have do idea what evolution is, and try to disclaim evolution

AussieePet

Evolution is any change across successive generations in the heritable characteristics of biological populations. Evolutionary processes give rise to diversity at every level of biological organisation, including species, individual organisms and molecules such as DNA and proteins. ( Your welcome.)

That looks an awful lot like the definition that Wikipedia has on their evolution page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution

[QUOTE="Quintinius"]Mutations in our genes over a great period of time lead to the creation of a brand new species. The pre-existing animal doesn't simply disappear, instead the species branches off into two different entities that become more and more diverse in their differences. Both co-exist alongside each other. That's why we still have monkeys (who we didn't evolve from, we just have the same evolutionary ancestor) and fish.AussieePet

You don't have proof, u didn't see it with ur eyes, so its false.

There's proof of this evolution based on fossils, DNA make-up and similiarities/differences in different animals in different parts of the world. However, using your logic, the same applies to God, Jesus and most religion

[QUOTE="bobbetybob"]Money /thread.lightleggy
yeah, so they were just looking for a new way to scam their customers

So, giving their consumers a completely new OPTION for a GBA is a scam? It wasn't like the other two versions just disappeared from the market and every pre-existing model instantly stopped working, it was just a chance for people to get a different, cheaper GBA if they really wanted it

I'm actually kinda suprised that so few people have read the series. There's 7 books in the series and 5 are currently out. The first three books are fantastic; incredibly difficult to put down. However, the pace of the fourth and fifth books slows down drastically due to certain story arcs ending or changing. It feels like there's a whole lot of preparation being put in for the next two books though which could be lead to an overall better story. I recommend reading them if you have a long time just to devote to them.
