Halo 5 is great. People with rose colored glasses for Bungie don't like it, but it did a lot of things right. The req system is cool and the no DLC with free updates are great. 10 updates and still going. Still has a large active mp community, 5+ million units and still going.
Can't wait to play Halo 6 on Scorpio.
Spot-on. Not a month has gone by where I haven't played Warzone for at least a night or two, and the "all free DLC" and REQ system really worked out well. I've bought a few of the packs on sale / on themes, and I've gotten dozens of hours out of them. Warzone Firefight is one of my favorite pick-up-and-play games now.
This is just brutal -- and on the very day when EA *could* have lured huge numbers of players away from Destiny...
Respawn is blatantly incorrect in their twitter feed from ~7h ago, where they said MS would fix this within the next 4 hours. Meanwhile EA support is making users go through all kinds of hassles trying fixes that have *NOTHING* to do with pricing presented from Store items.

Great job again, EA -- you continuously find ways to screw users by not bothering to test your products (or your developers' products) as they're promoted and released... which is pretty much the whole point of a developer working with a publisher in the first place.
But I love the new control layout. There was zero period of adjustment; all the driving, shooting, and driving+shooting "just works" now. And I love that auto-aim is disabled by default now too.
This is definitely not for a 12-year-old. Even if he understands that these "aren't real", it's the social concepts that he is ABSOLUTELY TOO YOUNG FOR. The problem is just how "real" the drug, torture, and strip club scenes are.
I'm no prude, but even with a very smart kid, I'd wait until ~15-16 before opening this can of worms. You'd be better off starting with Michael Mann movies and seeing how he copes with the concepts in those... They're childs' play (pardon the pun) compared to this.
What platform -- PC? What year do you remember playing it? (Use points of reference like school/work year...) Was there anything significant around the storyline or characters that you remember?
It's a solid 6 weeks after the holiday buying season, yet I'm not seeing any DS Lite hardware at any local or online retailers yet. While I realize that the DS understandably out-sold every other system (I'm an owner and fan as well), it seems like the backlog would be filling in again...
