@samurai1313: no, I don't think it's that and as @j1965 stated it's a bit more complex than that. Hell, for that matter Ishin has an even more niche appeal, plus w/ games like it I've heard (and w/ experience w/ previously similar game Kenzan), the localization would be a bit more complicated due to the traditional Japanese language (and lore) used.

It's possible they feel the risk of putting the effort into it might not balance out the reward, sadly.

@gamersts: hmm, for your info 'fanboys' don't have to say anything about thanking Sony b/c Yakuza series has been a longstanding series for well over a decade. Shows how little you about the series.....

If anything, us Yakuza fans are just super happy that the series is getting the proper shine that it deserves and not giving up on series that's truly awesome (flaws & all).

@xOmniCloudx: hey, don't feel bad! Look, the way I see it this: if they HD remaster the main titles & realize how much people still jump on this series, then maybe they'll finally pick up on doing an Onimusha 5. Hey, lemme be optimistic, dammit, lol! Besides, it like any of us in the Onimusha fandom was even expecting THIS MUCH....so maybe thinking big ain't so bad of an idea this time around, lol.

@harlemstruggle: I always check out www.bfads.net (I've been signed up for their site for the past few years, even while used to work in retail, lol). Matter of fact, I'd suspect that they'll start rolling out their newsletters for the upcoming holiday probably before this month is up.

@BamaGoatt: Well to be honest there's quite a many more places of business that are apt to have Christmas off than not, in a retail aspect.

Now the sad souls in food service work (or movie theaters and such).....not so lucky.

@juiceair: Well even if that is the case, I say it's good on them for being the first retailer to make that move. Grand strategic marketing move.

As being a former retail worker (thankfully I god I got out of that shit before the whole 'let's work your ass to death on Thanksgiving, too!' sctick began.....not facing another black Friday again reason enough), it was already soul-sucking experience, not only working on BF but the ridiculous build up before than. Hopefully, this move will force the hand of other retailers, as well.

Nintendo did pretty on this one. Looks like they're finally starting to get that if they wanna pull the Wii U out of the abysmal hole they've dug it in, then they'll have to start it from within. Sadly, well have to wait until 2015 for most of these but at least, but it's a powerful start.

@DarthLod Amen to that!! I couldn't have said it better (and it's similarly the same reasons I despise online gaming or do it very minimally w/ people I know and can tolerate).

@lil_luz_10 So true. I think that's one of the biggest reason I don't particularly bother w/ online gaming (I very rarely do and only for certain genres where I feel the community is going to be fairly cool and mature). Just looking at some of the messages my dad gets when he's playing Madden and how lame and salty some of these fools be when he beats them it laughably pathetic.

It's like 'hmm, if you met my Pops in the streets (@ 6ft, 300-something, black male), would you're little punks asses still talk shit?'. Lucky for them my daddy's chill and he pretty much knows he ain't got no time to be wasting worrying about somebody else's silly little 'child' (or 'man-child'), lol.
