Hey everyone, been a long time since I've posted here, so anyways... I'm getting into retro gaming, and started off with the original PS1 console and was able to also find a CIB version of Lunar silver story complete. The game shop I got them from also had an adapter they sold me to make it work on my 4k HDtv, it's a Nuscope Armor 3 AV to HDMI adapter, however, regardless if set to 1080p or 720p, the video of the game is almost unplayable, it's so fuzzy, text is hard to read, and also there is a humming coming through the sound. So I want to see other better options if available short of getting a CRT tv.

Thanks in advance!

I got a PS1 connected via an AV to HD adapter, however the image quality is very bad, any tips? I have a 55" 4k Samsung tv. No native composite or component inputs, thus the adapter.

Can't speak for PSVR specifically but VR is pretty wild as is the VR p0rn. It's weird when you should be physically feeling something but don't but some of those 4k, 360 degree video's really trick your brain to the point you can't help but reach out. It also feels a little weird to walk/run in a game as you are sitting down, I noticed the most when strafing but got used to it. Has that butterflies in your stomach feeling when you quickly go up then down a hill in a car. I could not handle the giant swing demo. Even though I know it's not real, I can't help but death grip my chair and I quickly end up taking off the headset. Adr1ft is pretty freaky, that distance between you, the earth and broken pieces of your ship can throw you for a loop. Movies on the big screen mode are good, you can curve the screen, have it right up to you..etc. I assume PSVR will be very similar experience except a little lower resolution and FOV.

VR is the shiznit though, just need some top shelf games for it. Wish Deus Ex: MD had an option for it.

if you can get the chance, play EVE on the Oculus Rift, you sit as your character is sitting in game, the immersion is amazing, while you are looking all around in 3D space while also maneuvering the ship around, it is a bit disorienting and I love it.

I have the LE console it's pretty cool, the design of the controller is cool enough, although the metal earth figure that comes with the console is a pain in the ass to assemble

I love the design of both the console and controller as well. I'm not even going to mess with that metal earth figure.
