@setaris: I don't know what bizarro world you live in but it's the Democrats who often introduce and enforce new tax legislation or increase taxes. Both presidential candidates Clinton and Sanders were going to introduce new taxes and higher rates, Sanders rate going as high as 50%.
Whereas Republicans lower or eliminate taxes, such as the ACA, the carbon tax, ect, though republicans have a problem with curbing their spending to reflect reduced tax revenues.
At the very least, they should offer PS1 BC, all it would take is an emulation program, no need for additional hardware and in addition, bring in all of the current PS1 classic digital games to the PS4 and let account holders have access to all of their original purchases with no hassle. Offer the PS1 emulation for free and the PR would go a long way, something more valuable than gold when you need strong support from your consumerbase
I like BC but I'd be lying if I said I used it often but to hear someone say that no one wants to play something because "it looks ancient" is an insult to me. Did Mr Ryan pay any attention to how the NES Classic sold like hotcakes? Does Mr Ryan notice how some older games in the PC community are still played to this day? A games graphic engine isn't the primary factor in whether we want to play a game or not and to hear such a flimsy excuse is an affront to me. Just say you can't because it's not cost efficient, I'll take that, I can believe that and it doesn't even make me angry because I can understand that from a business perspective but don't say i don't want BC because the games look "ancient" because it makes you look stupid
The only thing I see are two idiots trying to pass blame around to promote their own agendas. A politician trying to restrict a right to firearms and an association trying to pass blame so their group's advocacy of firearms doesn't bring them scorn.
