Oh good call - I remember loving that score. Must dig it out again.

For me, very little has matched the tension of playing System Shock 2 at night.

Valve's on PC have to be the worst: basically just a single sheet of paper, since they're pushing everyone to download via Steam rather than buy retail...

I've always been a big soundtrack fan (film and games) but I guess the ones I listen to most frequently atm are:

Mass Effect
ICO
Halo (various)
LA Noire
Mega-Man 3 (for a retro fix)
Stubbs the Zombie (modern indie rock bands covering 50s/60s hits)

Quick question and I'm hoping someone may already have come across the answer. When you install a game to the hard drive is it locked to that particular console (in particular the saved games)?

Reason is, I have an old 20GB Premium that I intend to replace for bigger HD and HDMI. I'd like to grab a 120GB hard drive ASAP but hold off on buying a new console until I can get my hands on the new Jasper hardware revision. If I do this, will I end up with a bunch of saved games that don't work on the new console?

Thanks.

Lol...Where is England?

And that's why I use the GSUK board... ;)

Couldn't resist. When you ask this question on UK Yahoo! Answers...you get like 30 responses in a minute....mostly damning you to hell.

I have cousins in the States who are perfectly intelligent so I'm slightly less blanket anti-American than most Brits. Though I did have a disturbing experience a couple of years ago when a 12-year-old in the "gifted" programme at school was staring thoughtfully at a giant map of the world on the wall behind me and eventually asked, "So where is Europe?"

Still, that was the deep south... :P

[QUOTE="Koba123"]IF he had two different decks, how did he know what the card is for the other deck?

Anyway, i think there was no way in hell he could have two decks, he wasnt very mobile with his hands so he could not have changed them. And i am the type of guy who looks at most magician sleeves with one eye when they are doing tricks, because i know most of the trick is just for distracting you...
Zerocrossings

He could have forced the card?

That was my first presumption too - there are several ways of "forcing" a card so that the apparently free choice is fixed. Offering the audience a chance to change a card will almost always be refused because the natural assumption is that the one they picked isn't the one he wanted them to pick, hence is offer.

HR Giger's work generally fills that niche for me. His organic designs are often intensely unsettling, hence he was the perfect choice to design the Alien for Ridley Scott's film.

I also remember coming across Chad Savage and Sinister Visions a few years ago. Some pretty cool stuff there.

Less creepy, but still beautifully weird is Jason Beam who remains one of the my favourite digital artists (his work is digitally manipulated photography).
