Oh, are we allowed to comment again? I wasn’t sure, what with comments being disabled for the Chauvin articles. The first time I saw comments disabled I wrote it off as a one-time thing, but now apparently it’s routine anytime GameSpot posts something political (which shouldn’t be done on a gaming website to begin with). I love how they get to pick and choose when our opinions matter.
Either let the moderators do their job, or disable comments altogether. Considering how many other sources there are for gaming news nowadays, this website is redundant - and has been for a long time, confirmed by the ever-increasing desperation to branch out into irrelevant subject matter. Y’know what? I’m finally done with GameSpot. You can keep your selective echo chamber, and good riddance.
Still tragic, but aside from one pivotal scene in book 7, Narcissa was mostly irrelevant. It’s not like she played Mrs. Weasley. I’m tired of misleading headlines making an actor’s role sound more important than it was just for clicks.
@march202002: It’s about inconsistency, double standards, and fragile egos, something Leftists tend to have in common. And yeah, that is a stupid analogy. It’s easy to act tough on the Internet.
@decadentdescent: That would seem to indicate your time would be better spent on a dedicated science website. Still doesn't make sense to me. Websites need to draw the line somewhere, or just throw in the towel and morph into Yahoo.
@Radar: Uh, what? Iron Man and co. weren't exactly popular before the MCU, but look where we are now. Excellent writing and production values can elevate any obscure character, and Arrow had both, at least for a while.
This is interesting and all, but...what on earth is it doing on GameSpot? I can understand expanding coverage to other forms of media like movies, but this is the first article in all my years on this site that feels ridiculously out of place.
I spoiled this for myself because I kept hearing about how bad it was and didn't want to be tempted to subscribe for one movie. Glad I did, because wow does it sound terrible.
@neverenoughpl The difference is that algorithms don't exist without an intelligence driving force - the humans that design them - whereas the universe might. Additionally, here the algorithms are designed to mimic natural phenomena in our universe. Taking algorithms and applying them back to the universe they're derived from leads to circular logic.
