I would like a blend of both.... take the BotW game world/ mechanics/ mobility, add in about 3 more dungeons. Give each dungeon a specialized item to use throughout the world, and you have a perfect Zelda game.

While I think BotW may be my favorite in the series... I felt it lacked in the gadgets, and discovery within the dungeons you typically find in Zelda games.

All that being said, Hyrule Castle was dope, give me more of that.

Ya I feel about the same as this. I like having the weapon breakage, shields, bows, etc, and the variety of enemies (which could be expanded a bit). I would like more dungeons, and perhaps some permanent weapons with specific skills. They can't be strong weapons that a player would chose as their always weapon, but have specific abilities for things aside from killing enemies.

Dungeons need to go more towards the old style with keys and stuff. Keep the shrine layout.

Gamespot review of 6/10 is the outlier according the metacritic. Seems most other sites gave it a lot higher.

A lot of Spider-man PS4 is similar to Spider-man 2 from back in the day. The swinging is not that different. Side quests are still the same repetitive stuff that's been happening in open world games since AC2 or earlier. I would personally consider that a fault of the new Spider-Man game, but BOTW even with it's flaws at least tried something new. Love it or hate it, it was worth the risk and a better game overall by far than spiderman.

Seems it plays a lot like Spider-Man: Arkham Asylum with a lot of the side missions being repetitive. 20 hours to beat. ... I mean, I'll get it still but that does seem disappointing.

@quadknight: I wish they made a non portable Switch... I'd buy that up for a cheaper price.

Same. I don't give a crap about its portable aspect, I just want to play some games on it docked anyway.

I used to say that too, until I went somewhere and realized i could just bring the thing with me. Seem slike osmethign I would never use, then suddenly I was using it, and it is actually a really great feature. Switch while taking a dump? No Problem!

Gamepass seems like a pretty great idea. Nvidia is also doing something similar with Geforce Now 2.0. PSNow is similar also.

I'm not sure how butthurt cows can think this is a bad idea when it's already been done by Sony in the past, and Nvidia is joining the ranks.

Strange, I heard that the change in heart was more because Phil Spencer now has full control over the Xbox department. He no longer has to spout stuff only to have it overturned by whats-his-face who was recently let go. To me, at least, that makes more sense than being a 100% sales related thing. They just want to make money, but being for the gamer and having games (maybe eventually?) are the way to go.

There is one thing missing from this equation TC. The platform that only has multiplatform games (Xbone), has multiplatform games that are not available on the platform that has exclusives and multiplatform games (Ps4). ... aka Ps4 may have exclusives and multiplatform games, but it is missing the 'microsoft exclusive' games (aka multiplatform games) that are shared between Xbox/PC. That essentially makes those multiplatform games exclusive to MS platforms and if people prefer that set of games then ps4 is not the choice to go with.

Myself, I just get all platforms.
