So the current "fix" is to track down each of your supposed still existing reviews and enter edit mode on each of them. Surely this is not a "fix" or even a sensible workaround. I get "barren wasteland" whether I toggle reviews and/or ratings.
Well my previous view, late last year when the site was "improved" with its useless stacks was not to submit any new reviews but just to rate the games. Now all my old reviews and recent ratings are hidden, albeit locatable by tediously searching each title which are no longer sorted by date or platform but thumbs up/down.
I wonder if I will bother coming back to GameSpot, which was once my only gaming home, and now seriously stuffed up.
When I click on my Blog tab on the control panel all the blogs show "0 Comments" while most of them have a number of comments from other users and/or updates/responses by myself. I can read the comments when I click on a specific blog headline but the summary page still shows "0 Comments" which means one needs to open each blog posting to see if any new comments have been added.
Any update on restoring the earlier version of the game library system (aka "My Collection") and accepting that the stacks concept is just not going to fly with the users?
Stacks are just not addressing the needs of the users. Most of us are not asking for something extra, just a reversion of the old sortable library system would make many "older users" very happy. Sure you can always tweak the old library system ... rather than just discard it because it may not look "jazzy" enough on a tablet, or whatever the motivation in adopting stacks was.
Let's just say I witnessed the last handful of tickets being knocked out today. It's looking mighty fine and nostalgic if you ask me. Expect an update in the very near feature.

I used to add every game I bought to my library on GS. I have got quite a large collection so this feature was great for me to keep track on what I've bought and what I still need to buy. It was also useful for easily finding information on the site about the games I've got.
Since the stacks were introduced, I've pretty much stopped keeping record of the games I've bought. I've tried to use the stacks but it's just beyond horrible.
Ditto ... awaiting hinted at improvement indicated by stylly (in post #14) ... hopefully "nostalgic" means something like a reversion to the layout and capability of the old library system, including games sorted by platform.
Was referring to the "old" pre-revamp (ie before the useless "stacks" concept was introduced) version by which you could track your games in a simple table display by platform and sort by release date, title, score, genre, etc and move games from want list to now playing to the played table. Also reviews were sorted from most recent to oldest rather than by the number of thumbs up or down.
Other features may have had problems in the "old" version too but I mainly use(d) GameSpot for tracking my games, my friends and reading reviews (by platform). Anyway the features I enjoy(ed) are now "busted", others may have been fixed.
Some games I've recently played and scored are appearing as XBox or GS on the summaries ... neither of which I have! Can we please select the version we are scoring/ranking or reviewing? Some of my previous reviews are now showing other than the platform I played it on (though most are correct, being PC only until mid-2013 and then PS3 or PC since).
I am glad that I can now see and sort/filter, in various ways, my earlier reviews and scores but remain puzzled as to why we cannot set the platform on which the game is played, especially going forward.
Personally I won't be writing any more reviews until all this is sorted out ... I'll simply put in the score and hope it ends up related to the right platform.
Is it possible (yet) to score/rank a game by platform as was the case previously?
My pre-website-change reviews are mostly correct for platform but my recent scores (which were without a review pending website revisions) seem to pop up as XBOX or GS, neither of which I have. Can we please have a "toggle" for each game so that we can score by the platform version being scored (and/or reviewed). If we already have such please let me know how to find it.
