One of the reasons I got a PS4 not gunna lie. Kingdom Hearts and FF ftw. People sh*t all over the last FF game and it wasn't AS good or anything, but I still enjoyed it. Super duper stoked for the next one. Also, if they come out with another Star Ocean game, I will lose my mind lol.

@gameroutlawzz in 21st century gaming, yes, narrative is what makes or breaks a game and really, more importantly, what separates your game from others just like it. If gameplay is all that mattered, Destiny would be the best f*ckin shooter of all time, but it's not because zero character development and zero plotline. Also, one billion hours of grinding. I've played a billion and one puzzle games, so a puzzle game needs to have a completely unique feel to it to even remotely get my attention. This game looks 100% like Fez, just in HD. Wait a minute, did you actually just say that Res Evil is still a good game series? That's a joke, right? They haven't had a non shitty game in like a decade lol. What makes the good RE games great is context, which you get from story. I'm not saying that Nintendo needs a billion cutscenes and needs to go Final Fantasy, but at least some point to the game would be nice. Look at Braid, it stands out as a great game not just because it is mechanically great, but because your motivation as a character is so strong. They just used like a couple lines of text to do that too, which would be all nintendo would have to do.
@gameroutlawzz masters of gaming? meh. Nintendo is the master of arcade gaming. There is zero depth and narrative to Nintendo games, so I would hardly call them the masters of gaming in general. They produce arcade games where you go from point A to point B and collect a bunch of stuff with zero character development or fitting the goals into a cohesive storyline. They're basically just good at continuing the 90's style gameplay where the point of the game was simply to win it as a game, rather than complete a story. There is a place for arcade games and they can be great fun, but I would hardly call them the highest tier of gaming.
It looks like basically Fez, but without graphics that make me want to puke. It also looks like pretty much an oversimplified 3D Mario game...because those were just too difficult before -.- pretty sure I'd be bored in 10 minutes.
Seriously, f*ck BF4. They should have been sued into oblivion for that crap. So much false advertising and so much brokenness. I love how their remedy to the problem is to come out with a sh*tty cops and robbers game instead of the real BF game people have been wanting since BF3. I played the Hardline beta. It was the worst shooter I've played in a long time.
