Well, we can only hope that GS eventually will fix the disaster of this supposed "site upgrade" of theirs. However, in my opinion this forum had already bombed long before they took it out of the front page.
Really, it was mostly just the same 10 or so regulars posting and chatting with and for themselves. That and the "system vs system" and "best 1000 games for x system" threads every 2 pages.
So for me at least it was not a surprise the forum ended up in the limbo like this.
Again, I find it curious that people complain about the forum being hidden HERE, yet I haven't seen a single soul complaining or mentioning the issue in the feedback forum.
There really isn't as much user interest about it as some people believe. It's the sad truth.
I don't think people actually care about a retro section. Or at least not right now when most everyone is going ga-ga over the next generation.
I mean, I haven't seen a single person mentioning that the legacy forums are missing or that they should be brought back over at the feedback board.
If somebody actually mentioned something about it, then most likely it got lost among the flood of complains about the new site format. However, looking at how many people here were whining about the loss of this board, I was expecting to see at least those people complaining about it. But so far nothing.
I'm surprised no one mentioned NIHON FALCOM, since they were one of the most influental Japanese RPG makers in history.
Most every other Japanese programmers were influenced by their works, at least a little, in one way or another.

Falcom's games are only sporadically released in the West. I think that has a lot to do with it.
Maybe. Now they're just like any other company though, but they did made the best RPGs in the past, and everyone else used to copy them.
FALCOM was making RPGs when ENIX was still making shoddy eroge. SQUARE earlier RPGs like BLASSTY were total rubbish until they released FINAL FANTASY. The rest of the companies didn't even exist.

Actually that was the first game that came to my mind since AIN comes from the SEGONKU ACE series. I don't know why I mixed horizontal with vertical.
I searched it up and found out more about the game but I don't think I remember there being so much nudity lol. But then again was like 7 or something so I prob had no idea what i was looking at back then. Thanks alot!!! :D
Yes, the programers next project right after releasing this game was an erotic mahjong arcade game, so the explicit sensual graphics in SENGOKU BLADE were deliberate.
