To the person who mentioned Mercury Meltdown Revolution. GET THIS GAME!!! Well if you like puzzles, get it. The tilt control is executed perfectly and you can't go wrong with a puzzle game for 20 bucks.Packfan104L4
Thanks. :)
It costs 65 dollars here though.. about 25 dollars less than the normal retail price for wii games. Some retail for 100 dollars though. Norway is expencive.. I usually buy my games pre-used, and they still cost more than the brand new ones cost in the US..
thanks for your recommandations, chang. :)
There was some more things about the controllers I was wondering about, can you use the classic controller in gamecube games, or do you have to have a gamecube controller. And in the games that accepts both the wiimote and the classic, can you two play with one using the wiimote and one using the classic?
Hi everyone.
I just got a wii, and are making a little wish list over games I want.
I'm a casual/adventure/simulation gamer so I'm not interested in the action games, but please recommend really good action games anyway. My bf plays a lot of fps, turn-based strategy, and some rpg games (he's a pc-gamer).
These are the games I'm planning on getting:
Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbados Treasure (unfortunately not out until December 7. here)
Warioware Smooth moves
MySims (I've never actually played the other sims games. I tend to spend so much time making my characters and their home, that I don't have time to play with them, and when I do, I grow tired very quickly. I still think this one is interesting though)
Big Brain Academy
Chibi-Robo - About Chibi Robo. I'm wondering if I should get a gamecube controller or the classic controller. I'm unsure if we're ever going to buy any virtual console games. I'm not interested in any so far at least and if I'm only going to play gamecube games, then the gamecube controller is cheaper and just as good, isn't it? Should we spring for the classic?
I'm also thinking about these games:
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Mercury Meltdown Revolution
Kororinpa
Cooking Mana
Mario Party 8
We have these games:
Farcry: Vengance and Rampage total destruction (my bf's)
Eledeeds, which we've bought used, and can return in ten days if we don't like it.
We have ordered Wii play, since we need another controller, and the game with controller was actually cheaper than buying just the controller.
Are there anything I've missed?
I'm looking forward to it, but then I am a casual gamer.
I love my dance mat, and think it's really fun (when I actually have room to play with it..), and I need to exercise. I only hope the prize will be reasonable, and there will be enough games/exercises to keep you using it.
Sorry for posting in your thread, but I also just got a Wii.
I've been wanting one since we started hearing about the revolutions special features, and when we had a new electronics shop open here, with a lot of really good offers, I just had to get one.
Played it for the first time yesterday, and we've already bought three games for it (only one game I'm interested in playing though, the others are mostly for my bf)! So far I'm having a blast (only a bit downed by the fact that wii sports gave me 77 in wii sports age today.. :S), and I'm looking forward to buying even more games for it. Number one on my list is Zack and Wiki, but it's unfortunatly not out before december 7. here.. :(
