Do you ever try updating your graphic card? I've the same gc 9800gtx+ as you. My computer used to crash randomly if I left my computer idle OR freeze while playing the warcraft 3 ONLY.. not other high-end games (isn't it strange) ... I can't figure it out till I update my gc to 182.06 version.. the previous version of updates had failed me too..

My pc is no longer crash after the update..

Is it OK for a graphic card to run above 100c in the long run? Won't it get fried??

Hi, I'm looking for a vga cooling for my Galaxy 9800GTX+ graphic card. It is not OC'ed. It stays idle at 54c and 105c max under load when running very high-end games. I'm interested with Zalman products but my 9800gtx+ isn't listed in their compability list according to the Zalman website. And other recommended cooling, except Thermalright T-RAD² VGA Cooler (this thing is too expensive for me to buy ATM). Thanks in advance.

No... so it is caused by a faulty graphic card?

Hi, my new computer was built on last Thursday and is stable in running almost any programs.. I have no problem in running the Red Alert 3, Silent Hill Homecoming, GTA4 and Crysis in high setting. But I have the problem which is shown at the link below one day. The problem will be gone if I manage to restart my computer.. but today it is back again. Can anyone tell me what has caused these horizontal lines with extreme weird colours and the computer will freeze at the same time? Could it be with my new graphic card?? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. However, there's one thing that bugs me now. I don't think the graphic card can fit into the mobo. Please correct me if I'm wrong. (Click the picture in the link in the first post).
