Hello Everybody,
I recently purchase a XBOX 360 Pro with 60gb HDD. The reason I bought this is because I want to play some fun games with my friends and because of the DVD Player. I still have an old TV so I'm playing the games at PAL-60 but it's pretty ok.
So I activated my free gold month and downloaded a few demos. I also purchased GTAIV:Balad of Gay Tony and Worms.
Well until 5 hours ago I didn't noticed to many games but after watching a video here on GameSpot and after browsing the "Arcade" section a bit I really found some damn good games.
But first I have some questions:
1.Can I still browse & buy/download games from the market place if I don't have Gold?
2.What's the actual advantage of the Gold?
3. This might sound like a stupid question but how are the people in the mutipalyer? Good, bad or lot's of trolls? I didn't had the courage to try a "quick worms game".
Also I would like a recomandation of some nice games I can play with my friends.
Right now I have: GTA IV, Guitar Hero World Tour (1 controller), Halo 3, Mass Effect, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - Double Agent, Gears of War, PGR 4, Football Manager 2007.
I was thinking on getting Pro Evoltion Soccer 2010 (This is what we play on the PC but from what I saw today FIFA2010 seems highly superior. I have to play the demo), Street Fighter IV (Seems like a good old kicking), Forza Motorsport 3.
After a coulpe of Worms games with my friend we played PGR 4 but the bad thing is that we need to disable the HUD. Fro time to time after the first place get's from the checkpoint we get that countdown until the next one get's over the checkpoint. While this is a nice thing, the damn counter graphic get's right on the middle of the screen and we can't see the horizont.I think we crashed like 10 times. Guess that's the disavantage of having an old tv ... LOL.
Anyway, sorry for this big and boring post. I hope that I will get some feedback.
P.S. After watching that GameSpot video with a couple of games I was thinking about this games: Gemotery Wars:Retro Evolved 2, Castle Crashers & Lode Runner.
Thanks again.
