I don't remember the price of SNES games, because family members used to buy those for me. Same goes for the early N64 games. But I bought Zelda: Majora's Mask with my own hard cash and I think it was only $40. I THINK.

It wasn't until the Final Fantasy games for PS that games went to $50. I THINK.

In the end, it all depends on what you're going to use your PSP for and what you care about for gaming systems.

PSP GO, you can't put UMDs in it. Which may not be a problem for you, since you likely don't already have any physical PSP games. But for people who do have UMDs and old PSP games, well, why should we have to pay more money for a game we already have? Additionally, physical games can actually be bargained for, maybe even wait it out for a while and find it for $5 in a Hastings bargain bin; downloadable games, the prices are set and will only decrease when Sony wants them to decrease. And while PSP games are small (1.17 GB) and the PSP GO has 16 GB, you need to factor in how many games do you want? And don't forget to save some room for your game saves.

I got a PSP Go and i lvoe it i would hate to carry around the monster PSP 3000. The PSP Go is amazing IMO and i would reccomend it.

The 3000 is a monster? Looks like someone never had a PSP 1000.

people always mention the smaller screen but fail to mention it retains the same screen resolution thus making the graphics look crisper. massive + if you ask me....just sucks if your eye sight does!lewisg1212
That's like playing a PC game in Window mode, just to make the graphics "crisper" and the framerate higher.

I think people tend to forget that STORES BUY SUPPLIES. The video game industry got its cut before the consumer ever got their product. 'Course, keep in mind that the price which the store bought the game isn't the full price at which the consumer is charged for it; otherwise, the store couldn't turn profit. If anything, it's the store that gets "hurt" when the price of the video game drops, and they still have stock from the initial shipment. But it's all good, because that's where used games make up for that. Either that, or a store can be like K-Mart and still charge $50 for a game that went Greatest Hits two years ago.

Additionally, all those eBay sellers had to buy their copy of the game from somewhere.

I just saw an ad on this site for this: http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/game-capture/console/overview.html?source=gamecap_gamespot_site

I was wondering if anyone has one, and what their feedback is on it. The product is really pushing for 360 and PS3 game captures, but does it also do Wii and/or old consoles? And is it really, truly real-time, or does all that depend on other factors (I.E. video card)?

Here's the way I see it: if the game costs only $50 on the PC, then why are the 360 and PS3 versions ten dollars more? It's not like PC games used to be $40 when X-Box and PS2 games were $50. And Wii games are still only $50.

Except Nintendo has a problem with their home team games (Mario, Metroid, Zelda, etc.) hardly dropping in value.

Going on six months and it's still not fixed?

I'm signing this, too.

Wait, so let me get this straight. Despite the fact that both GameFAQs and GameSpot have separate search options for the DS and 3DS, they're still going to insist the two systems are similar enough that they should keep a merged board?

I just want to add games to my collection. I don't want updates regarding games. I don't want to "follow" the games in my collection. I just want a list of what I have and what I want. Like it was a year ago.

I checked the user CP, and there's nothing regarding this "following." I can choose if I want to put games to my collection, wishlist, or now playing. But I can't change crap about the following. What gives? Additionally, going to my list of games I'm following, it's frickin' annoying to remove all those games. Why can't I just mark a tick box, go to the top or bottom, and choose "Remove selected items"? No, instead I have to go to each individual one and choose from a drop-down box that I want to remove the item. Then the page reloads, repeat, blah, blah, blah. I mean, if Google can figure their crap out with YouTube, then how come Gamespot can't?

This whole setup is extremely annoying and counter-intuitive. Maybe because counter-intuitive goes hand-in-hand with annoying.

First of all, where's the punctuation in that? "Gamers Instinct." Is it supposed to be singular possessive, plural possessive, or what? Geez.

Now then, the "Join Now!" form is bugged all to crap. After I filled out the first page and clicked "Next," the second page was filled with php errors. You know, the typical 089 and 107 type php error lines. So, I clicked Refresh on my browser, and it reloaded the first page instead of the second page. So, I hit back to return to the first page, whereupon I found all my answers were now void. Then I hit back to return to the home page and got a 404 error.

I'd really like to join this "Gamers Instinct" (once you guys figure out where to put punctuation), but it's rather hard to do that if the form for joining is bugged.

I had a PS2 Affiliado Badge for a long time, and now today it's gone. Is there a glitch with the badges or something?
