There's this game called "Oni" for the PC. It's made by Bungie. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/oni/index.html?q=oni

It's one of my all time favorites because it has a really cool strong female lead, Konoko. I was still really into it when I signed up years ago. Plus it's cool cause it's 3 letters and easy to remember. Also, Oni are demons from Japanese folk lore .. so that's kinda cool as well :)

Hello, any time I make a post it tells me that I'm using forbiden words like "cla$$y or "cla$$ic", (can't even use forbiden that's why it's misspelled in this post) every time I post. I haven't used these words in any form on this forum for months. Anyone know what the deal is? It started ever since you guys implemented this new funky editor for posting.

This is the error message:

Errors: You have encountered a **** .html error, and have may used one or more of the **** words while trying to include a link in your message. There are certain words, including 'class' and 'style', that we do not allow while creating links in your messages because they are a doorway into several js exploits. Unfortunately, if you should have words that have 'class' in them (e.g., classify, classic, etc), they will also be ****. We are looking to find the best solution for this problem, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

There's so much talk about trying to win Japan. I think the most important question to ask is: "Does it effect me"? This Generation isn't like the past. Nintendo is trying to push a new game-play control mechanic with "Wii-mote". MS is trying to push on-line game-play to the next level with live and Sony with PS3 are trying to push their blu-ray format.  It's not the same game, I don't understand why people think it is. Is Japan important? IMO, Japanese seem more interested in portable gaming these days (just look at their top 30 console game charts), so I would have to say NO. Are Japanese game developer support important, YES! That's what's really important, don't you think?

As long as 360 is getting great titles, does it really bother you if the Japanese people would rather be playing Dragon Quest on their DS?

Sounds like a bug to me. There should be entrances to the sewers all over the place in every city.  Did you install the latest community patch?  That should fix any bugs.

just because you don't know a game doesn't mean its crapAB_Uppercut

So what you are saying is just take a gamble? Invest the $600 now and these games could possibly be worth it?

Na I think I'm going to have to pass for now. I'll wait till 2008 when PS3 actually has a library of games.

I really hate to say it ... but I think this is where Microsoft could really come in to play. If M$ is really serious about the PC being a major gaming platform then they should make efforts to help educate the industry that threat of piracy is a serious one. Maybe this is how they can get Live Anywhere to take off.

Even if PC gaming suffers the pirates will just turn their focus to cracking the consoles. Hackers love a challenge.

I would bet the farm on the pinpoint accuracy of a mouse/keyboard set up vs gamepad any day of the week.

Are you having conversations with random people or something? I hardly ever come across the people you described. Maybe because I don't associate with random immature children. I choose to only associate with a close circle of on-line buddies.  Otherwise I would not use voice chat or text chat .. or if the game has an ignore feature, I'll do that.

When it comes the droves of lost uneducated people who play on-line, you either need to be more selective or try to find a community that polices itself.
