I have been out of the Wii world for the last couple years, but I figured I would give it a shot once again. Sorry if this topic has been beat to death.

Me and my 2 roomates and our girlfiends are looking for some good party games. Before I go to the store and blow my money on garbage, I was wondering if you guys had any off hand reccomendations. I already got Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros. My Wii has been sitting away for a while so I figured I would take the plunge again and have a little fun with it again.

Thanks in advance :)

After playing both games a ton... and I mean.. A TON

I would say stick with BC2. To me, its an overall more FUN game. BF3 is very, very chaotic at times, and also in my opinion the maps are poorly designed. BF3 has a lot of good elements and ideas, but I think was executed poorly. The learning curve is extremely steep if you re new to the game, and at times the larger maps can be a complete bore.

BC2 was just a more fun experience for me. This isnt the first time I have heard this from others either. Most people who would say otherwise most likley never liked BC2 from the beginging.

Oh and jets on this game are a gimmick. They are pretty much useless in the grand scheme of things.

[QUOTE="AutoPilotOn"][QUOTE="TrapMuzik92"]people who actually buy games on demand...smhJaysonguy

I would if it was a good deal. There is no way I'd pay as much or more than it costs to get the the disk though. I dont understand why anyways would...

The ability to have it with you no matter what.

If you own a GOD game or even a Live arcade game they're always with you

Ahh, until the next xbox console comes out. How is that DLC content from the original xbox working out for everyone? Oh yeah. It isnt.

Battlefield 1943 had some pretty awesome effects.

Assassins Creed 2 had it almost perfect though. Everything from the physics to the appearance

alot of people play BF2142 including me. its awesome.pokemondude2012
Thanks for not answering his question lol Anyway, yes a lot of people still play BF 1943. There is still a strong following and games are generally full for the most part. There are times though when the rooms may be 6 vs 8 and what not but mainly because it is off peak hours. But for the most part you shouldn't have any problem finding games at least 10 vs 10 generally. I would recommend buying the Battlefield Bad company 2 Ultimate edition for like 40 bucks. It comes with 1943 and BFBC2 as well. If you loved 1943, you may also find BFBC2 and its Vietnam expansion very engaging as well. If money isnt a factor, then go for both. If you just want 1943 then go for it. It's a great game and I logged hundreds of hours on it.

Pretty much any turn based RPG type gane. They just bore me to death. I used to want to try playing all those great RPG's on the SNES but just could not get into it. Also, I just never had a thing for the Metal Gear series as well.

I want to also add..

Mario 64 - While revolutionary, I just never really liked the transition to 3D

Any Zelda game after Link to the Past

The Mega Man X4 and up

Pokemon games, although its probably more due to my age (29)
