Having a high powered gaming PC, my trusty PS Vita, Switch and PS4 Pro with a huge backlog, I think I can wait.

I played Evil Within 1 on PS4 and then on PC. It ran so good on PC (60fps) and Instantly loved it again. Although I'm yet to finish the DLC and haven't even touched Evil Within 2. I have a huuuuge backlog and currently spent 160hrs on Witcher 3 and still not finished.

I maybe an extreme minority, but I haven't played GTA 5 even though I own it on Steam. In fact the first ever GTA I played was GTA 3 on the PS2 more 15 years ago. I didn't finish it. I think GTA doesn't appeal me as a game.

I think PS5 will allow you to transfer your downloaded games with all the patches to an external HDD for storing/archiving when not playing. If you ever get the itch, you only need to transfer back the game to your internal SSD and you're good to go. Its what I have been doing with the PS4. I have very few games on the internal SSD but all my other games are stored on an external 4TB drive. I don't see it as a potential issue with the PS5.

Situation is becoming quite serious. I live in the UAE and we are only allowed to work from home. I'm glad we haven't lost our jobs (working at gas company) which keeps the meter running, unlike what's happening in industries such as airline. Stay indoor folks, and spend time with your family. Me and wife talk to our relatives over the phone, watch some Netflix. I'm currently playing Witcher 3 with 140hrs and still haven't finished the 1st DLC.

I think we all agree that Sony and MS have done wonders with such limited power in this Gen, imagine what they can achieve with upcoming machines. The power differential between the 2 machines is there, no doubt, but they are still looking very powerful machines.

We must realize that Sony has always been a relatively a weaker machine in past gens compared to MS, yet Sony has trumped the competition with exclusives.

This time the competition will be nail biting as both machines are relatively powerful. Games and Console Price will make all the difference now.

Working from home here on weekly rotation basis. I usually don't eat out so it doesn't affect us. Only gripe I have is that the gym in our building has shut until further notice. Gaming as usual.
