Yeah, not a very exciting topic, but quick time events being too often in this game caused me not to purchase this title. I encourage others who hate QTEs to also boycott this and similar titles (RE6 *cough*). QTEs are easily one of the worst things to have happened to gaming since... well ever. I can't think of a comparison.

This series needs axed and rehauled... it's inferior to other RPG series. In the D&D games and the Might and Magic games your characters become more powerful over time so there is a feeling of power progression. Elder Scrolls has the idiotic level scaling so there is no cool magic spot where you're character finally becomes a badarse. In Might and Magic you could walk up to a creature and get your arse handed to you but go back to it a few levels later and crush it. Level scaling is stupid and isn't a true RPG system.
2006 is calling and it wants its stupid post back.
Played FC2 on PC and played FC3 on 360--didn't have a problem playing it on 360. The game was perfectly enjoyable. I'll still probably pick it up on a Steam sale or something down the line for another playthrough in the future, though.
This game is more than playable on 360.
I felt like a 9/10 was kind of overselling it, but it's still an above average game, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
It's an improved version of FC2, with some weird voodoo stuff thrown in. A solid 8-8.5 imo. Probably my favorite shooter this year.
Don't rely on Target Finder to fix your problems, I see so many people using it on the kill cam that I have Perk 2 Greed on all my classes now and always run with Cold Blooded (I don't use lethals or an alternate - can always pick up guns in game without point cost). When you are dependent on that red diamond before pulling your trigger you are dead before you realise what you are looking at when someone with Cold Blooded comes at you.
But until people figure this out, Taget Finder with a LMG on maps that work for ranged weapons is a deadly combination. Other than that specialise in SMG's and run and gun, seems to work ok for me.
I think a lot of people use Target Finder just because they like it as a sight. The reason that you're killing people isn't because they're relying on TF, but because they're using an LMG and you're using an SMG. With the maps the way they are in BO2, there aren't many scenarios an LMG is going to come out on top in the best of circumstances.
The lag compensation is part of it, another part is that the spawns in this game are the worst in the series to date.
Plus, SMGs are to this game what ARs were in BO1. So if you primarily use ARs, that might be part of the problem. A couple of them aren't bad, but if you're on the crap side of the lag comp, don't even bother using one.
I can not begin to tell you haw bad this info is, almost everything you said is WRONG and it is what we see the bad's doing. Smoke hurts your own team worse than it helps. Subs rule capture mode. And the others are no help, it is what you are doing in a capture mode game to start with. You must try harder.Ksan989
Thank you for your well thought out arguement. I really appreciate the imput.
And you're wrong--please don't be on my team.
EDIT: I should clarify. To the one thing you bothered to even be remotely specific--smoke may not help in an organized match, but we're talking randoms here. Most players don't use targeters at this point, and randoms are horrified of smoke. This isn't just some theory, it's something I've seen time and again across three different CoD games. If you're bold and they're not, you'll get the cap through smoke. I'm sorry if I somehow offended your playstyle of likely not getting any defense points, etc., but these are strategies that I've found to work time and again.
As for the last part, it isn't even coherent, so I can't really say anything about it. If you could please bother to spend 5 seconds to ask yourself "did what I type make ANY sense?" perhaps people would bother to listen to your opinion.
