SF4 champ mode... I used to play with a headset on... I do a running comentary on what moves I'm doing, and saying things like "GET UP THEM STAIRS!!"after catching some one with a DP or laughing at people when I catch them with a sweet FC combo. and yellingat the top of my lungs whne a close match ends in a loss... or a win...

Needless to say, I don't play SF4 with the headset any more... :P

it's not as good... TakeDown was(Striker not included)the best arcade racer ever. I t was what it was. a stage to stage, paractice makes perfect thrill ride. it's no mucking about looking for races and stopping at lights and crap. Leave that open world stuff to the NFS series where it belongs. Takedown is as good as the arcade racer ever could be.

Paradise diluted it and made the playing poorer.

And in Shenmue's defense, it's a very solid game, in the same way RE is solid. just on occasion, some actors phone it in. though, for the most part, all the main chars in Shenmue are well voiced. IMO.

I had some good practice this afternoon, got my focus cancels into DP cancel into hado down now... lol. bring on the combos! even managaed to beat my nemesis balrog on hardest with not much trouble at all before i had to leave for work! :D can't wait to take it online and prove I'm no scrub! lols!

Unfortunately for me, though I LOVE the game, I can't play it for very long before feeling motion sick:( Which makes me feel like having a baby tantrum because I want to kill lot's and lots of zombies... And witches are horrifying!

any tips for me? :(

With every piece of new info, I find myself more and more keen for SSF4... it's been a while since i've poured over screen shots, videoand news tidbits trying to glean some more facts about a game! Such is the power of SF, ever since I was a young 13 years old, SF has been the one game that can bring this out of me... :D

Dear Santa... I've been a very good boy this year. For christmas, I would like Assassins Creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, The lord of the Rings Complete DVD movie boxset(the extended editions), Dollhouse season one on dvd, some new jeans, new socks, new shoes, a punch bag, underwear, an electric tooth brush and a partridge in a pear tree....

The Emporers Tomb is a fine Indiana Jones game.

Though if you want Indy style thrills and spills, you really can't go wrong with Uncharted or it's sequal on PS3.

and the original Tomb Raider is still a top title. most of Lara's other games however are a mixed bag. some good, some awful. none triple A.

The Prince of Persia games on PS2/GC/Xbox are brilliant games also. The current PoP game is no where near as good.

I'm also a sucker for the cheese-mode intro to SF4. :P lol

From an artistic standing, it's a cool as feck intro...

I personally liked the opening of RE5... Really cinematic in a Black Hawk Down(shaky cam and smash zooms a la Ridley Scott) and WET has a nice intro scene.

the way Mass Effect draws you in is subtle. very good. :D
