If you think the game is that great saying "I personally feel a 4 is a bit unfair" is way too weak. Four is ridiculous, even for a critic.
But anyway, I loved the game as well, good to see at least a few other fans among all these weird creatures who somehow don't like the game or like it only marginally.
Serious games are generally better, however they still need to be reasonably believable. Games where you e.g. are a super hero saving the earth are hard to believe no matter how serious the tone is, it feels like the developers are trying to shove a power fantasy down your throat. And there are practically no games that do anything interesting with philosophy or deeper thoughts.
What about the release of the new consoles, that's the biggest gaming event of this year I'd say, and the biggest news is that they would be released this year.
Aside from that, for me.... Watchdogs, as the game I was looking forward to the most (later delayed, which is fine since i won't be able to get a PS4 for another while anyway), the Fallout 2299 hoax which made for some fun time at reddit and elsewhere, and GTA 5 was probably the biggest gaming hype, althought ultimately I didn't like the game as much as I hoped i would, hm and I played a lot of Skyrim this year but i guess that a 2013-year thing mostly for just me, lol.
Lol, but I think you should have used actual comments as usual, as illustration. Also there has be a rule about attacking people rather than their games, ideas and proposals etc. Viciously attack the person instead, always. That's 101. So I suppose I should attack the people behind this episode rather than commenting on the episode itself, damn.
Last year I started Skyrim on Christmas, this year same day I will start Witcher 2 (both for its own sake and to get ready for Witcher 3). Should keep me occupied for a while.
I like when Jess talks about Fallout. To cram some more awesome into the mix maybe I should try to also eat pizza and put on some great music. Seriously though, gimme that game, can't wait.
