How weird that they would only release on XBox. PS4 has more users out there. Not that Xbox is a small market or anything, but its just a bit strange. By the way Doom Patrol is freaking amazing and totally worth the sub! Plus DC is adding thousands of comics by the week to the sub to have a full selection.
Half your complaints disappear when you accept that they spend more than 1 night on the center of the Lake. Simple. The other half (that arent dumb nitpicks seriously wet fur???) are solved if you accept that the Night King has Greensight of some kind. He clearly can sense when Bran is looking at him and can even deflect him, AND was seen touching Bran and affecting him through a vision. Clearly he has powers. The Three Eyed Raven and Mellisandre can see visions of the future due to their abilities and communion with their gods, so why not the Night King???
The Night King knew that he needed a Dragon to break the Wall so he trapped Jon and the rest on the Lake as bait. He knew Dany and her Dragons would come for them and he could have the opportunity to take 1 down. Otherwise their current movement makes no sense. They were headed to the Wall without any way to get through it??? It also explains why NOW. The long Winter is brought by the Walkers, not the other way around. So theoretically they could have attacked at any time. Why wait so long, and even then why so long into the show? Theoretically they could have made the exact movement they made a few seasons ago at the very beginning of the show and attack Hardhome for a large bulk of their army. Why didnt they? Simple. They couldnt get through the wall until a Dragon was brought across it.
The Night King needed to wait for Westeros to be weakened, and for most of the Dragons (except for 1 he could use) to die out. The Dragons were one of the biggest things they had to look out for and why they didnt strike for so long after the Long Night. With their fire they could wipe out the entire army with a few well trained Dragons and riders. But due to neglect they slowly died out. Then Westeros is in a sorry state because of Civil Wars, and finally Dany comes across with her Dragons. So he begins his March and the Dragon he needs comes right to him. Because he helped the events unfold that way.
@Lexyvil: Chains likely came from Hardhome. We also dont know that Walkers cant stand water, just that they cant swim. They werent going to put half their army underwater chasing a bunch of boats that were much faster. But having Walkers drag chains underwater without a time limit is no problem.
A lot makes sense about the Night King and the Army of the Dead if you accept that the Night King has an ability similar to greensight like Bran. If he can see bits of the future he could set a trap to kill a dragon and bust down the wall with that Wight Dragon. Bran seeing the Night King in an area VERY similar to the Lake Jon and his Suicide Squad got trapt on; the army taking so long to get from Hardhome to Eastwatch; why the Night King and the Others didnt just kill Jon and the rest with ranged weapons ect. It all makes way more sense from that lense.
I understand its less of a risk, but I wish Devs wouldnt put so much stock in the success of ports in deciding the future of development on a console. Xenoverse 2 is a good game, and if it had come out on Switch the same time as the other platforms I probably wouldve bought it on that system due to its portability, but they are releasing it a year after the other consoles. I already have it, and I sure as hell am not buying it again for full price. But I would buy FighterZ on the Switch over the other consoles in a heartbeat. I just dont think that the sales of a port necessarily show the interest of consumers on a system. If Xenoverse 2 doesnt sell well it isnt because Switch owners dont like fighting games, or Dragon Ball. Its because tons of fans already own it.
@revytwohand: Sorry, but based on impressions and previews going around right now it seems that no only does Zelda reinvigorate the franchise it seems to be a straight up masterpiece. If the final reactions and reviews match the previews Breath of the Wild is going to completely overshadow Horizon. Im sure Horizon is a great game, but if there was any game Id wait for it would be that one. Most games these days (except Nintendo games) dont hold their initial launch price very long. Youll likley be able to find Horizon on sale for $40 in three months, and $30 by the end of the year.
@livedreamplay: lol thats a joke right??? There hasnt been a console Zelda game in over 5 years, and the only mainstream title to come out has been A Link Between Worlds on the 3DS over 3 years ago. That isnt even close to yearly!
