Resistance 2 - £4.00
Deus Ex: Invisible War - £0.75
Project Gotham Racing 2 - £1.00
Forza Motorsport - £2.50
Cold Fear - £2.50
Deus Ex was only 75p, and I purchased it knowing that I've heard nothing but bad feedback on it, but hey I'm one of those people that seems to enjoy even poorly received games if I can get some sort of fun out of it, so whatever, and can't really go wrong with 75p lol
I also heard Cold Fear was pretty mediocre, but the idea of no map sounds good, but we'll see if it's good in practice when I'm playing.... and I want more survival horror games in my collection
One little moan about Resistance 2...I got it from CeX, and I didn't notice that the guy put a platinum disc of the game inside the original version of Resistance 2, I'm not so bummed out because it doesn't look too bad and it's just on the disc, and I'm too lazy to complain about that, so I can live with it
The same guy tried to do this to me when I tried purchasing the Resident Evil 5: Limited Edition Steelbook, as soon as I saw him put RE5: Gold Edition discs in there I was like uh no way in hell I'm accepting that!!! Jesus! I'm lucky I noticed it before he put them in the case
This also happened when I purchased a used cpoy of Max Payne for the xbox on amazon, it turned up but I ended up getting the 'classics' disc for Max Payne inside my original Max Payne game box. It's not a massive problem but I guess it butthurt me more when I saw him doing it to Resident Evil 5, and I'm trying to collect as much Resi games as possible of different versions (regions and editions etc) :P
But other than that, all a good deal for the day. feels good bulk buying loads of old games for cheap
[QUOTE="Eikichi-Onizuka"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"]Did I ever mention how much I dislike it when shops put these really big price stickers on cardboard boxes, and how annoying it can be to remove them?
Darkman2007
Stickers on anything annoy me but cardboard is the worst. it isn't so bad on DVD cases, on those you can just some alcohol to loosen them up and then just scrape them off . without any damage to the box , can't really do that on a cardboard box I've been lucky with stickers for a while now, I even buy games with stickers on them and they are hiding torn ruined stickers beneath it, but somehow I manage to take them off with ease, and then use a wet wipe to clear off any sticky residue
