How can anyone narrow it down to just 1 game considering how long this gen has been, I can't even think of one and single out the rest

Fighting Force on the PS1

Rise of the Robots on SNES

Two fighting games that control poorly but for some reason are so appealing to play, I can narrow it down to nothing but nostalgia, I wasn't exposed to the best of the best games ever when I was a kid because I was the first person to make playing games a hobby since I was a young one, so I had access to a lot of mediocre games too :P

I remember asking for Pokemon Red or Blue for my birthday, but instead I got Pokemon Pinball

I think they could add a bit more, well, interactivity. Although I haven't played very many

I'm not sure if anyone would classify Dreamfall: The Longest Journey as an interactive cinematic gameplay, but I've heard people put it in the same category as something like Fahrenheit, so if it's any consolation interactive cinematic games should be more like Dreamfall and not Heavy Rain.

Heavy Rain was an alright game, but it could've been so much better if you could actually drive or shoot or whatever instead of shaking the controller or something.

After researching, I can't find very many games that fall into 'interactive cinematic' games specifically, but across the board if a game is going to be cinematic I still want some game.

What about some games of today? A lot of them try to be cinematic in terms of presentation but still manage to preserve full player control (ex: The Last of Us) - If we talk about games like those, then they're alright

A game by quantic dream, those developers would do well to add more proper gameplay into their games.

I've never reallyp layed the FMV games, was never really interested in them, never played Dragon's Lair either

Resistance 2 - £4.00

Deus Ex: Invisible War - £0.75

Project Gotham Racing 2 - £1.00

Forza Motorsport - £2.50

Cold Fear - £2.50

Deus Ex was only 75p, and I purchased it knowing that I've heard nothing but bad feedback on it, but hey I'm one of those people that seems to enjoy even poorly received games if I can get some sort of fun out of it, so whatever, and can't really go wrong with 75p lol

I also heard Cold Fear was pretty mediocre, but the idea of no map sounds good, but we'll see if it's good in practice when I'm playing.... and I want more survival horror games in my collection

One little moan about Resistance 2...I got it from CeX, and I didn't notice that the guy put a platinum disc of the game inside the original version of Resistance 2, I'm not so bummed out because it doesn't look too bad and it's just on the disc, and I'm too lazy to complain about that, so I can live with it

The same guy tried to do this to me when I tried purchasing the Resident Evil 5: Limited Edition Steelbook, as soon as I saw him put RE5: Gold Edition discs in there I was like uh no way in hell I'm accepting that!!! Jesus! I'm lucky I noticed it before he put them in the case

This also happened when I purchased a used cpoy of Max Payne for the xbox on amazon, it turned up but I ended up getting the 'classics' disc for Max Payne inside my original Max Payne game box. It's not a massive problem but I guess it butthurt me more when I saw him doing it to Resident Evil 5, and I'm trying to collect as much Resi games as possible of different versions (regions and editions etc) :P

But other than that, all a good deal for the day. feels good bulk buying loads of old games for cheap

[QUOTE="Eikichi-Onizuka"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"]Did I ever mention how much I dislike it when shops put these really big price stickers on cardboard boxes, and how annoying it can be to remove them?

Darkman2007

Stickers on anything annoy me but cardboard is the worst.

it isn't so bad on DVD cases, on those you can just some alcohol to loosen them up and then just scrape them off . without any damage to the box , can't really do that on a cardboard box

I've been lucky with stickers for a while now, I even buy games with stickers on them and they are hiding torn ruined stickers beneath it, but somehow I manage to take them off with ease, and then use a wet wipe to clear off any sticky residue

Just grabbed these from a thrift store for really cheap.

The NES with all hookups was only $2 and works fine.

The games were all $1 a piece.

arkephonic

STG...Super Strike Gunner? That's one of my favourite shoot em ups ever made, love that game

Picked up Metal Gear Solid on PS1 for £10, pretty damn good condition for an old jewel case, I missed out on the original MGS and only played Twin Snakes, so looking forward to this
